(Note: Part of the cast and crew stayed at the hotel I was working at and I had the privilege of serving Mr. Pinsent a drink). This is a heartfelt story of a woman afflicted by Alzheimer's.
Javier H (es) wrote: My favourite film from the saga, it presents many questions as the leit motiv from the original film has finally dissapeared: after first time sex, what comes next? Then the story evolves into parties and new relationships, as in the end it builds up a new idea: the need for real love.

Keenan S (ca) wrote: This sequel is okay, but perhaps memories of watching it as a kid are helping me still like it. I think the voice-acting is pretty solid for the most part, the animation is decent, and the music and musical numbers are okay. However, the story is painfully shallow, and made the film feel shallow as well. This film doesn't carry any of the character development or emotional resonance of the original film, which is shame, because the first film got you to care about the characters and made you feel like you'd been with them in their struggles. Now it just feels like an afterthought and there is no emotional connection to them. I think the film is okay, but it should have been better considering the wonderful memories of watching the first film.
Mohammed O (gb) wrote: A light comedy, but not a great one. This is an good film. My favorites were the Maggie Smith and the Cosby/Pryor story. The Alda/Fonda story was OK (if more dramatic than comedic), and the Matthau story didn't catch me on (until Elaine May arrived). I only wished Alda, Fonda and Matthau had much bigger parts in the film.
