Facebook U (kr) wrote: Very funny right from the start but the story is a bit strange. This is not your regular love story, not linear at all. It is actually getting quite difficult mid-film. You can throw romantism through the window. The english teacher still ends up a bit selfless and delusional in a nice kind of way, with some sexual appetite rather unfulfilled.

Vianne C (nl) wrote: If you're looking for an excruciating watch, this is for you! A badly directed, edited, acted, and scripted film with few redeeming features. On par on the embarrassment scale with such films as "Repo! The Genetic Opera", Elena Undone will have you squirming in your seat and praying for a quick end, unfortunately it has a running time of nearly two hours. A real waste of time, but at least Necar Zadegan and Traci Dinwiddie are attractive.

What they don't know is that in 1979, in a cave under the house, there was a gay disco, which burned down when a foam machine short-circuited, and five bodies were never found. Today, the house is haunted by five gay ghosts. However, only Marc is able to see them, and his visions drive Emma away. The ghosts, touched by Marc's problems, do everything in their power to help him get his girl back.

Mitch T (us) wrote: It was difficult for me to choose a rating for this film, but I ended up going with 5 stars because a) it is a film like no other movie I have ever seen before and b) its weirdness and confusion is very enticing, despite being seemingly random. I will definitely watch this movie again soon in the hopes of understanding it more.

Contains a 'monster' budget and A-list talent in John Landis and Rick Baker. Video offers one piece of unintended irony when Jackson tells his girl that he's 'not like other guys'.

Martin T (gb) wrote: A spectacular B-movie noir about a hitman with a difficult assignment. Vince Edwards is glorious as the cold, calculating, philosophical killer. Watching him coolly go about his work with detachment and precision is gripping. Director Irving Lerner tells the story with economy and flair, constructing a number of memorable sequences. The "waiting for the call" montage is a clear influence on Taxi Driver... indeed, Martin Scorsese is a big fan of the film. One of the most striking elements is the score: jaunty jazz guitar, very reminiscent of (and probably inspired by) The Third Man. The music builds and takes on a driving rhythm as the narrative becomes more tense. I got a huge kick out of this unique and compelling film. A few really shoddy rear projection shots and a somewhat annoying secondary character are the only notable flaws in this otherwise spellbinding treat.

However, I liked his performance and this film is worth watching because of his presence. The two female leads were just okay, especially Salma Hayek looked much better over Jessica Alba which seems her career is almost over. This is a story of a Cambridge professor who moved to the States after fallen in love with an American student. But just after a few years later he comes crashing down with trouble in the marriage, but he decides to fight for his son at any cost. The story was good, but should have been improvised a little. And the theme might make uncomfortable for some because of a man falling in love with both the sister. Yet very matured and a fine flavour for people with the open mind. There were some fun, especially comparing the booze culture and students' behavious between the two countries. This is a three year old film, but got released different market at different time and I saw it now that I think it was much better than I anticipated after knowing the respond it's got.6/10

Ben T (es) wrote: Bone Tomahawk is essentially a gritty Western B Movie. The film feels like the sort of concept you would have seen in the 1980's however this is a serious and rather horrifying film. The movie has brilliant acting from Kurt Russell who is great and it's so good to see him in more movies. Patrick Wilson, Matthew Fox and Richard Jenkins make up the rest of the cast and they are all excellent, especially Fox who gives an excellent performance. Lili Simmons is also excellent. The film surprisingly has excellent dialogue, it's very gripping and feels almost Tarantino like at points. The film is very well directed as it's slow paced yet I was never once bored and good God is the third act of this film intense and horrifying. This film also does a good job of exploring men of this era and what they will do to survive. The film doesn't go too in depth but it is there which I was very pleased to say. Bone Tomahawk is also quite a tense film as the Indian tribe in this film is a brilliant threat and they are all very menacing. The film has a very tense third act which is what really solidifies it as a great film. The film does feel low budget at points due to the lack of locations and music but it looks great with top notch cinematography and editing. Also it would be impossible to talk about this film without mentioning the violence. There isn't loads of violence in this film but when it's there it's very graphic. There's a kill towards the end of the film that is so drawn out, nasty and violent that it alone warrants this films 18 certificate here in the UK. Overall Bone Tomahawk is an excellent film that not enough people have seen. It has great acting, writing and some of the most horrific violence in a third act that is more grim and disturbing than most modern horror movies. A truly excellent film that more people should watch and I'm very pleased I was able to watch it. A
