(es) wrote: Always a bit risky going for rather unknown foreign comedies. I had never heard of any of the actors or the director either. This one is a Canadian one, in french language, and it deals with a slacker that are having quite a messy life. And oh, he finds out that he is the biological father of 530 people or so. Quite an interesting plot and it's pretty well delt with. It's not superfunny, but it's charming, warm and got a great feel-good vibe. Well acted, well told, but it lacks a bit managing to deal with the main-plot and the subplots at the same time. Well worth a watch - a comedy that stand out from the masses.6 out of 10 meat trucks.

(ca) wrote: disappointing. That annoying voice from the mermaid Nori in Barbie Mermaidia is Mariposa here and she is NOT Barbie, which I must note. This is a 'fairytopia' story, which means Elina narrates it at points. I thought all the voices in the film were really frustrating and why is Mariposa lead? I did not like the plot either. I felt it as this film the films went really bad. Even when I first saw it in 2008 I did not take a fancy to it. I was like "Who is this girl?! Why does Elina only get about 5 minutes screen time?" really upsetting...
(nl) wrote: I would rather seeing him using legal system rules to defend the allegations against him regarding his revenge to those two bad guys, instead of killing all legal service men. I makes no point, defused the purpose.
(es) wrote: Saw the adverts for it and I thought it looked terrible but my friend asked me to see it with him and it was not too bad. A few laughs here and there but mostly for children.

(nl) wrote: Much better film than the first one, but that is like saying that one turd smells better than the other. I mean, we still have a main vampire here who mugs at the camera every chance he gets like he just got done eating a Jalapeno sandwich and there are no toilets around. Much better cinematography and patience with the story, which obviously was building up to the next film. Plus more chicks with nice racks. My hopes are high that the third one blows my mind.
(fr) wrote: Blast from the past, this was a movie I saw a lot as a kid. Being older I'm not sure if I would like it, so ill just go off my childhood memories and remember liking it back then.
(ag) wrote: This wasn't a bad movie but it was dark and had mediocre acting.Christina Applegate stars as a teen with a drug problem that prostitutes to get by and the boy who falls in love with her. They are chased by a cop who didn't kill them the first time.Closest thing to nudity for Applegate.
(ag) wrote: Easily one of Natalie Woods best performances, as well as being one of her best movies. Steve McQueen is surprisingly good. The supporting cast is excellent, Tom Bosley and especially Edie Adams. I am sure it was rather controversial in 1963. Great story, that's well written and directed.

(gb) wrote: Natali takes a crack at answering the eternal question of who we really are in this Gattaca-noir, sci-fi-spy film. Predictable conclusion, but it was fun getting there.
(br) wrote: A fun action thriller on bikes. Gordon-Levitt and Shannon elevate the film with good performances. The film may feel familiar but its still enjoyable.
