Altman manages to keep the movie interesting by effectively utlilizing its ensemble cast and various short cameos. The equally hold suspense, comedy, twists and its a treat to the movie fans thanks to the multitudes of film references within the film.

Sean D (mx) wrote: The 4th film in the franchise is a fun one. This is a remake to the original film which started as a spoof to the original Jaws. Well, from what I can tell, this just seems like a remake with the spoof part removed. This isn't really a comedy, like past films. It's more like a disaster monster horror film. It's a lot of fun and you get a really crazy all-star ensemble. Some more common actors, others not so much. There's a fee subplots and events going on around the main storyline. The film straight up ends on a cliffhanger, letting you know there is definitely going to be a sequel in the most direct way possible. I haven't seen any other film in the series, nor the original so it's hard to compare it or make comparisons. As a standalone film, I'd watch this multiple times, it was an enjoyment and everyone should see it.

Laura M (au) wrote: SEVE: The Movie is a fantastic tribute to golf and to the golf legend that it's named for. I really loved getting the background behind Seve's passion and success, especially the huge role that his family played in his life. It was fun to watch the interactions between his brothers, and his father and mother. The way that he was supported and encouraged by his brothers who really saw something in him was so cool. The film was very well-done and I liked the way it included real clips of Seve playing golf and giving interviews throughout. Also, I have to hand it to the actor playing Seve who did a great job with that iconic golf swing. I found the blend of acted flashbacks and real-life footage of Seve Ballesteros to be a great storytelling method for SEVE: The Movie. It was really cool to see Seve's passion take the forefront to all of his adventures. From humble beginnings, a true and dedicated pro golfer was born, and it was a privilege to hear his story through this film. Definitely an inspiring tear-jerker.
