(gb) wrote: Novocaine is a disappointing film. It is about a dentist finds himself a murder suspect after a sexy patient seduces him into prescribing her drugs. Steve Martin and Helena Bonham Carter give horrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. David Atkins did a terrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.
(gb) wrote: Holy fuck. Like... WOAH. The first hour of the movie is pretty fucking slow. You get the idea of what is going on, but there is very very little dialogue and it's kind of boring at times. Then shit gets FUCKED UP. Definitely one of the most disturbing scenes in a movie. Interesting movie overall and a bit intense.

You all know the story, and how it ends and most of the jokes in the film, but you know this is fantastic movie THAT HAS STILL YET TO BE PUT ON BLU RAY WTF STUDIOS? Anyway, if you haven't seen it yet (jackass) see it and if you haven't bought it yet, do so. What are you waiting for? This one certainly deserves to be in your colleciton.
(ca) wrote: This is a really goofy, quotable, off-the-wall comedy that I actually liked a lot. Sure, as a "mature" moviegoer I should probably hate it, but I couldn't resist laughing at the chaos of everything that was happening in this fish-out-of-water film. The reason why I marked it down so much is because the script and story are somewhat lacking. Most of the characters are pretty thin and there is never any real sense of tension. There's nothing much at steak. Also, there are no real rules in this film universe, and there are some things in the plot that don't make much sense and can be countered very easily. The third act is abrupt and doesn't even fully come to be. However, the performances by the cast were really well done in my opinion, and I especially found Fraser hilarious. "If you liked Wayne's World" I'm pretty sure you'll find this movie funny.Twizard Rating: 80
