Equus

A psychiatrist, Martin Dysart, investigates the savage blinding of six horses with a metal spike in a stable in Hampshire, England. The atrocity was committed by an unassuming seventeen-year-old stable boy named Alan Strang, the only son of an opinionated but inwardly-timid father and a genteel, religious mother. As Dysart exposes the truths behind the boy's demons, he finds himself face-to-face with his own.

A psychiatrist attempts to uncover a troubled stable boy's disturbing obsession with horses. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

I Am A TuRtLe Is Window Licker (it) wrote: With it's very interesting ways, this movie happens to have the same exact views of me. Contemplating the world's problems, the seven most intelligent people in America are put together to stop a bomb that would blow up D.C. But, with different views, and some serious arguments, it makes it hard. Oh, and did I mention the way that they could save themselves is to solve the worlds problems in 24 hours, by answering the questions?... Well, that made it about a billion times more interesting... I suggest this movie for those of us who like to solve problems. And think about what we can do. :}

Calley H (au) wrote: This was too art house for me. It got boring, panning shots of grass and shit, but I liked the kid and his relationships. Watch it!

Kurt N (nl) wrote: Boring. And now annoying to. One of those old glorified B-grade 90's flicks that will never go away! AAARRRRGHHHHH!!!!

Joshua L (ru) wrote: Good story, decent action flick.

Naomi G (br) wrote: The only thing this remake has in common with the original is a sharp critique of an imaginary world that is meant to be a critique of our own. Other than that the story deviates sharply from the original. Whereas the original centered around the game of Rollerball itself, and staying in that game, the characters in this film are more interested in getting away from the game. In the original, Caan was morally oblivious to the fact that he was involved in sanctioned mass murder, not so the heroes of the Rollerball reincarnation. They are fully aware of the repercussions of their actions, yet their reason for involvement in the game in the first place is not soundly proved.One element extracted form the original into the remake is to make the fast paced action of the game scenes in the original the norm for the whole of the remake. The performance of the actresses and actors in the film are obscured by the swirling sequence of actions so their relative inabilities become masked and not detrimental to the film as a whole.

Shane J (ag) wrote: An ok flick, but not really a martial arts film which i want to see the damme in.

Yash B (ru) wrote: "The Way Way Back" really hits home. It's a story I could really connect with and Liam James nailed the awkward, introverted persona. All of the cast give top notch performances and the story is really ground in reality. The dialogue is natural and the movie makes you laugh in one scene, and breaks your heart in the next. It's a very different movie and in the end it left me with a warm yet bittersweet kind of feeling. This is a very good movie that didn't receive that much attention but it is worth a watch due to the impact it may leave on you.
