Justin B (kr) wrote: Was interesting to see a modern contemporary Indian film that appeals to a younger demographic. The lighting and cinematography was well done but as most Indian Bollywood films are, was an hour and a half too long. Everything was overblown but it fit. Between the dance scenes, triathlons, a really long wedding scene, and the most soccer I've ever watched; it felt like something India would produce. Overall it was fun to watch... aside from all the soccer, and the story arc worked well with the subject matter.

Josh A (mx) wrote: Much better than anticipated, if you can get past the horrible opening scene the movie is actually pretty solid. Pretty cool idea and for the budget it looks pretty good. Some pretty poor acting with some of the actors though. Worth watching

Louise W (ca) wrote: Oh Joshy, you really can do better. Don't stay in texas and be all depressed. This is a lame half hearted attempt at a comedy with weasel from road trip. Jimbo is sexy though needed more screen time. Stoopid.

Chris L (nl) wrote: Avant-garde gay cinema doesn't get much more oblique than this. Garishly heavy on the senses, as well as the mind. This ain't a film to wile away the time.

Andrew D (us) wrote: This film is about the life of a young Winston Churchill. Based on his book written during his 'wilderness years', 'My Early Life'. It starts with him as a boy and catalogues his relationship with his father and mother, Lord and Lady Randolph Churchill. As he gets older he then joins the army and the film contains some fantastic battle scenes including the "last great cavalry charge of the Empire" and also his escape from the Boars. A magnificent film, but I am biased when it comes to all things Winston.

laura b (es) wrote: fantastic film, really went into everything about marleys life, from family, fame, health, death, friends, country, drugs, and his rise.

James O (gb) wrote: Pretty good animation where the main character carries the plot along nicely. Not much to work with in terms of supporting characters but it's an easy light hearted film. Nothing special but not too shabby.

Chris S (ag) wrote: It is pleasant to see Russell Crowe, who usually portrays overly masculine characters, play a gay character as it shows his sensitive and gentle side. And it would be great to have a dad like the one here who is very understanding of his son's sexuality and totally unashamed of who his son is. The father and his son also have such a close bond and a healthy relationship. Besides that, the film is quite average and the self-reflexivity makes the film seem less realistic.
