Though academically bright, violent pupil Erik Ponti is expelled from his state school with the headmaster’s words “there’s only one word for people like you – evil… what you need is a good thrashing, and more”. In fact already Erik frequently receives a ‘good’ thrashing at the hands of his sadistic stepfather – so he is packed off by his mother to boardingschool

Erik is expelled from school for fighting. He ends up at a private boarding school where the senior students control the young ones. Erik finds a friend in Pierre, his room mate. The story ... . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Paul E (de) wrote: As a music fan, I'm ashamed it has taken me this long to see this documentary. Any music fan will love it. A valentine to a great studio. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I'm not a big fan of some of the artists in the documentary. But, even they acquit themselves very well in the film

Jack W (mx) wrote: Equally as funny as the first, Johnny English 2 contains typical Rowan Atkinson humour and occasional action and chases that will entertain fans of the first film.

David P (nl) wrote: Great family entertainment with some humor to laugh occasionally. It has it's flaws but they are easily overlooked.

Byron B (ag) wrote: A very entertaining documentary! The talking heads have fascinating things to say. The stills, audio, and video clips illustrate so well the history this movie is trying to share. A couple American International pictures are mentioned, but the biggest surprise for me is that Roger Corman's name is never uttered. Besides this exception, this doc covers a wide range of exploitation genres and the filmmakers who were happy to oblige the public. The "chapter" headings are: In the Beginning: From Edison to Freaks, Let He Who Is Without Sin... See Our Movie, It's Not Vulgar... It's Educational, Perversion... For Profit, Teenage... Rampage, Sexploitation: From Nudie Cuties to Roughies, Gore- Galore, The Times... They Are a Changin', Blaxploitation: You Dig?, They Caged Their Bodies... But Not Their Desires, The Schlocky... Seventies, Send In... The Nazis, Porn-O-Copia, and The Final Grind... Or Is It?. It is out on DVD, but I watched it free on Hulu.

Logan M (de) wrote: Eric Bana is one of the most underrated actors currently working, and he does an incredible job, but the rest of the movie is pointless and doesn't live up to his performance.

Dylan D (it) wrote: Muppets from Space is a solid all-around film. It might not be the best Muppet movie, and it's certainly not the first amongst them to immediately come to mind when thinking of the entire "series" of films, but it's fine kinda-sorta under-the-radar entertainment that has enough cuddly characters, action, and laughs to satisfy its target audience's base needs. All of that is supported by parent-approved themes that are obvious but nevertheless nicely integrated into the larger whole. The picture, like all of the Muppet movies, is supported by an invisible soul that's just not there in even the best as-of-2011 animated pictures; there's something about the tangible, real-world characters portrayed on-the-spot by real people that digital just hasn't been able to duplicate.

Christophe C (fr) wrote: LE BEAU PERE 2 en vf. Mme histoire que le premier volet mais l'originalit et la violence (physique et psychologique) en moins. Du travail bacl de la part d'une quipe faineante.

Sandra V (de) wrote: With all the accolades this film has garnered, I must say that I was a little disappointed. The sweeping vistas and Meryl Streep are beautiful, but it does plod along in places and I often couldn't feel much of a connection to the characters. It's as if it just skims along the surface, leaving me cold. And the tang of colonialism and complicit patronizing tone with its character's outdated mindsets is hard to get over.

Will N (nl) wrote: An intelligent script, super acting by Meryl Streep as always, and a strong supporting cast help keep the viewer tuned. An entirely dialogue-driven film, it drags at times as a result. Worth seeing it if only to see Meryl firing a gun at Sting.

Jeff C (ca) wrote: I loe ths movie, greatest ever made..

Aj V (nl) wrote: I caught this on TV, and I didn't understand it at all, then I saw it again from the beginning, and I still couldn't quite understand what was all going on. This movie is confusing and stupid. I wouldn't recommend this movie.
