It's Miriam's 21st Birthday. As a birthday gift, Miriam's aunt Gail has decided to lend Miriam her beautiful country house for an entire weekend. Aunt Gail's country house is amazing. It's a four bedroom house surrounded by breathtaking mountains and miles and miles of woods. Miriam invites her young college friends Cassy, Mark, Tanya and Leo to join her at the country house for what looks to be the most amazing weekend ever. Of course they all jump at the chance to spend a free weekend in the country, in the middle of nowhere. Miriam's friends are totally in the mood for a big time party weekend. They're also anxious to escape the dark and gloomy concrete jungle known as Manhattan. Miriam, Cassy and Tanya bring the food. Mark brings the beer and Leo, the aspiring filmmaker, brings his new video camera. Leo hopes to produce a short movie by documenting every amazing moment of this weekend getaway...

Eric H (us) wrote: There was the lack of dialogue. Maybe there were a 100 spoken words in the beginning of the movie. That combined with the hypnotic music and what seemed to be no script at all also presented a problem for me. The best way to describe it as it just had the ultimate "weird factor" Complete sleeper..You are better off seeing them live.

James H (es) wrote: JEEZ, I PICKED THREE ROTTEN MOVIES TO RENT TONIGHT. THIS IS AN AWFUL FILM. HAVING TWO ROTTWEILER'S AS PETS GROWING UP, I AM OFFENDED BY HOW THEY ARE PORTRAYED. MY ROTTWEILERS WERE THE SWEETEST DOGS ON EARTH. CHEAPIE FILM, BADLY DONE IN MOST EVERY WAY.
Leena L (us) wrote: Creepy as always, but only 2.5 as there are ridiculous body hairs in so many ways in this film.
Troy F (it) wrote: I can't believe I watched this movie, or even a Chuck Norris flick! I had this on a very old VHS tape and decided to watch it out of curiosity. Now this is a very bad movie with a dumb plot. Chuck Norris is a cop who gets an axe murderer killed and blown to shits after he murders a woman in a house. Doctors have this new technology of bringing the dead to life and making them invincible, and for some stupid reason, they decide to test this on the dead murderer (how STUPID could you be to revive a deadly killer?). While this is going on, we see Chuck Norris carrying out cop duties and what do you know? He goes to a bar and round kicks everyones asses and knocks the shit outta them! Than he finds out the killer guy is on the loose and the rest of the movie is that killer killing people and fighting Chuck Norris, and well, you know who wins the fight! Silent Rage is a bad 80s movie that is stupid, poorly acted, and badly filmed too!

Ashley H (us) wrote: While this movie has its problems, mostly due to attitudes towards the orientals at the time it was made, that it does on occasion defy expected sterotypes. The cast is phenomenal. I can't seem to get enough of Humphrey Bogart at his best and he's terrific. Mary Astor and Sydney Greenstreet are marvelous and it's a lot of fun to see these performers who do so well on the screen again. The ending I felt was slightly problematic and requires suspension of disbelief yet no more so than today's modern action hero films.
person m (de) wrote: fun but anyone with more than a passing interest in wrestling will get bored probablly as the film dosent break kayfabe. interestinglly there are a few major names here dory funk junior playing a mob enforcer turned wrestler and the wrestling matches were choreographed by terry funk. the plot is a combination of night and the city (far superior) and the harder they fall (boxing movie again far superior) two brothers exploit their retarded albeit exceptionally strong brother by managing him in illegal wrestling matches in a seedy speak easy in the bronx.stallone does show flashes of acting briliance but is suffocated by a terrible script the film also shows some noirish flare stallones character is almost a carbon copy of richard ridmarks in night and the city the major problem is the film builds tention in places then ruins it with a weird and unnecessary sense of humour. and half way through the film stallone and his seedy other brother totally reverse roles which is just strange. and the mob are like rejects from dick tracey.a mixed bag worth checking out for terry funks artistic choreohgraphy and chain wretling sequences (linking a serious of holds and throws) and a wrestling match in the pouring rain.light hearted fun but not worth it your after serious wrestling or noir or even drama this isn't for you.
