To me, the film only came alive during Cyd Charisse's dance solo, which was sadly halfway down the movie. All in all, I loved the costumes and dance numbers. It was great to see Peter Lorre in a comedic role. I didn't know this was a remake of Ninotchka (I've always wanted to watch that movie), so I'm irked that I saw this version first.
