Music was way sensational in zinda ... the plot was a little more logical than the original in old boy . To sum things up Zinda was not as good as Old boy ... HOWEVER... Zinda had way better leads, music and plot... Zinda is a revolutionary attempt to change the cinema industry of Bollywood... That in my opinion is well recognized and respected.

Luc L (kr) wrote: This is a cult film that become very popular on VHS and on TV showings, since it was barely released by 20th Century Fox in theaters. I think "Fox" didn't know what they had with this movie. In some ways, the wild out of control humour was before "South Park" and others. It is a bizarre fantasy comedy that works very well, since it was ahead of its time. Winter, who co-wrote and co-directed the feature. Who best known for the "Bill and Ted" movies and he directed an effective thriller titled "Fever". He is also fun to watch as the lead playing a sleazy Hollywood actor. But he is surrounded by an amusing supporting cast like Quaid, Ward, Stoyanov (Best known for TV's Blossom), William Sadler, Bobcat Goldthwait, Mr. T, Brooke Shields and an amusing bit part by Keanu Reeves as Dogboy. Imaginative make-up effects and excellent production design by future director Catherine Hardwick (The Lords of Dogtown, Thirteen, Twilight) are also the highlights of this something brilliant comedy, it is something also of a parody as well. Certainly worth a look.

Jakki J (ag) wrote: How do you rate this kind of movie? Of course it is low budget and all kinds of cheesy, but it accomplishes everything it sets out to do and sure is a fun ride! Any fan of the original Frankie & Annette beach movies will get a kick out of this flashback. Suburban life has made this fun loving couple dull. What could prove a more effective remedy than a trip to LA to visit their grown-up daughter and a stop at all their youthful hangouts? This is not without trouble first. Insert silly music and cameos such as Gilligan and the Skipper, The Beave and Wally, Dick Dale and the Del-Tones, and best of all Pee Wee Herman and you can't go wrong if good, campy fun is what you're looking for!

Andrew B (it) wrote: When talking about thrillers, I really don't know if I have seem a movie that has kept me on the edge of my seat since In the Line of Fire. This is an absolutely fantastic movie. The plot is pretty simple, there is a man who is plotting to kill the President, played by John Malkovich, and is taunting a Secret Service agent played by Clint Eastwood who is trying to prevent him from doing it. Take notes aspiring actors and filmmakers, this is what it looks like when great acting and filmmaking can take a simple concept and make it downright incredible to watch. The interaction between Eastwood and Malkovich is nothing short of brilliant. There is a point in the film where you will forget Malkovich is just an actor playing a role in a movie because he honestly was born to play this role. I can not see anyone else casted in this movie playing his character. Honestly, in the grand scheme of things this is one of the most underrated movies of all time. Both actors fit the roles brilliantly as the story plays out you can feel the tension building. Not only can you feel the tension getting thicker but you can feel Malkovich getting more psychotic with every scene, you cant take your eyes away from the screen while he is on. A great movie that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to be thrilled and stay on the edge of their seat the entire movie.
