(ca) wrote: the script is cool & Jason & Paul are fairly awesome. production spent too much time on several, uber stupidities. edited version could get more **... :)

(ru) wrote: I loved this film, even though it has it's sappy moments. It's a great adventure story for the young and old, and when the squall hits it leaves you on the edge of your seat - it makes the sap worth sitting through.
(nl) wrote: Not that great a story, and amateurishly produced.
(mx) wrote: Not a bad caper film in which Marlon Brando and his confederates kidnap an heiress (Pamela Franklin) and hold her in an isolated French chateau. Brando has to contend with his drug-addicted girlfriend (Rita Moreno) and the fact that one of his confederates is a psychopath whom Brando suspects wants to kill the kidnap victim and all his partners to get at the ransom money; given that this member of the gang is played by a wild-eyed Richard Boone, Brando's character is probably right. Its a very tightly constructed and well-made thriller and one of Brando's better acting job from his uneven late-1960s period.

(br) wrote: Made during Hammer's descent into gore (but before their tits and gore last gasp days), "Hands of the Ripper" is a stylish, atmospheric and particularly well acted little horror film. Unlike, say, "To the Devil a Daughter" it actually feels like a Hammer film. Whatever its minor flaws may be are more than redeemed by the fantastic, moving climax. Eric Porter is fucking great.
(es) wrote: The title is a bit misleading but it was still an enjoyable anime. Batman is barely in this and it is mainly about the coming of supergirl more than anything. There are a lot of interesting and cool bits but overall something was still missing. I thought the anime was good, although it seems to get quite bad feedback.
