A Retrovirus, which was conceived as a tool for industrial genetic engineering, has gotten out of control and is spreading rapidly. While it crosses all organisms within our ecological system completely indiscriminately (mixing plant with animal and humans) most plants prove more resistant because of their complex DNA. However, the simple genes of the plants lead humans to become grotesque mutations, in most cases even to death. Within one week, 90% of mankind are either extinct or no longer human. However, a small fraction of the earth?s population remains immune to the virus and must survive in this new and constantly changing ecological system. Tom cellar is one the survivors and on an old military base in the Eifel he has entrenched himself. Further survivors come together and succeed in carving out a life in this new world. But the GMOs - the ?genetically modified organisms? - constantly develop themselves further, and soon the fence of the base offers no more protection.
The remaining survivors of pan-global epidemic face a race against time to find a cure before they succumb to its zombie-inducing effects. Holed up in an abandoned military base, Tom and ... . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Mandy Moore and Kellan Lutz had some chemistry, not enough though. The thing is, the storyline itself is intriguing, it's why I watched it. It all was just poorly written and executed. A LOT of awkward camera angles/shots. Especially the part with Moore's character visiting her therapist. It was all just extreme close up on her face, with a therapist's voice talking. Which you find out in the credits was Julia Roberts. What, was she too embarrassed by this movie to show her face? One of the redeeming parts was Josh Brolin as the father, who becomes a born again Jew after the separation, which was pretty funny. And Jessica Szohr is charming enough as the slutty/carefree/wild/typical younger sister. Overall though, you're better off watching a different rom-com.

Steve W (kr) wrote: Harsh Time is an appropriate American tragedy. The performances are stellar, from Freddy Rodriguez and Christian Bale, as two losers who need jobs, despite their destructive nature. Bale plays Jim Davis, a haunted PTSD stricken Gulf War veteran with a drug problem, and his friend Mike needs to get a job to satisfy his girlfriend Sylvia. The movie is almost like a glimpse into their gritty life, and ends on a rather anti-climactic note, as if it needed to be tragic to have heft. But the performances are worth the viewing for this interesting drama film.

I caught with it on youtube and i saw all the 16 episodes and it was no looking back. It is a simple 16 hour drama which is charming, sweet and freakishly addictive. I would admit that this was my first korean cinematic experience and after watching this i saw a lot of korean cinema, which is fucking awesome. The drama is sweet journey of an actor and how he struggles with his scandals. It's is probably predictive at times but the 4 main actors sail this drama through. It's a very different romantic drama but you will love this if you watch one episode of this. Do catch it on youtube before it is taken off. I will admit this, It is because of this drama i have a k-cinema fan.

For centuries a war has been ongoing between Vampire and Werewolve clans, a young Vampire Warror named Selene falls in love with Michael a human who is being sought by Werewolves for a unknown reason. Don't be fooled by the plot summary, this isn't Twilight, it's a dark, action packed thriller that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. The cast is great and it's great to look at.
