A man is abducted from the streets of London and transported via secret flights to an unknown country. Held in solitary confinement and cut off from the outside world, he is plunged into a lawless nightmare of detention without trial, interrogation and torture. Returned without explanation to the UK many months later, he is left to pick up the pieces of a shattered life in a world he no longer recognises.

Sama mysl, ze te malowidla maja 32.000 lat jest fascynujaca, zwlaszcza biorac pod uwage fakt, ze kultura zachodnia opiera sie na fundamentach sprzed zaledwie 6.000 lat. Inspirujaca podroz w czasie ukazujaca ewolucje czlowieka i testament naszych przodkow, ktorzy po obejrzeniu filmu staja sie kims wiecej niz "ludzmi z epoki kamienia lupanego". Polecam!

And they find out that he was a member of the Donner part who resorted to cannibalism. It ius so funny. Also tycoons hire a hitman to stop the journey who ends up being like Wild E Coyote who evry trap he sets for the Roadrunner ends up blwing up in his face. And they also run into indians who end up helping them because they figure with all the whites heading east they will get their land back. Sadly this was John Candy's last movie before he died. It's not his best movie but I thought it was pretty funny and a good decent comedy. It got alot of bad reviews but I thought it was a good comedy western and a good last performance from the legendary John Candy. R.I.P John you are missed.

I was also not that big of a fan if Hilary Swank although she was terrific in Million Dollar Baby, and now with this, I'm starting to become it. It's quite a commitment for her to do this and she actually does look, sound, and act like a boy which is impressive. Chloe Sevigny is great in this which is the first time I ever seen her in a movie. Their chemistry is really good and it felt real to me. The supporting cast are great, and the characters are very memorable that gets better when the movie keeps going. You get to know about Brandon Teena and Lana Tisdel's family, but maybe it's a nitpick for me, but I wanted to see more of Brandon's family because I think it would've been a bit more effective that way. As is, Boys Don't Cry is a surprise to me and is a heck of a film debut from director/writer Kimberly Peirce.
