Wes S (kr) wrote: This slow-paced & character driven indie drama stars Michelle Monaghan as Diane Ford, an independent truck driver who is suddenly forced to look after her estranged young son Peter (Jimmy Bennett) after her ex husband is diagnosed with cancer and has to stay in the hospital. Now Diane has to balance her long-haul trucking career and the needs of her 11 year old son, who deliberately makes things even more difficult when he openly expresses his anger towards his mother for abandoning him as a child. This story is nothing new with it's plot that deals with the estranged sibling having to deal with unresolved issues with the parent in a road trip style storyline. But Michelle Monaghan & Jimmy Bennett both give solid performances and breathe fresh air into this cliche story. This film isn't going to be for everyone with it's slow paced plot and strong character driven performances, but all things considered I thought the storyline flowed very well and hit all the right marks. Focusing on past mistakes, broken relationships, and redemption, this film really delivered it's message perfectly. Very touching tearjerker of a movie...really enjoyed it

Nikki L (gb) wrote: i think that maybe it suffered because originally it was meant to be a two part story. the story jumps quite a lot. the first part of the movie also drags...its not a terrible film but i have seen better

John K (mx) wrote: We saw this in biology. It changed my life FOREVER! It's hilarious!

Scott M (nl) wrote: Hot indeed! It takes the bad ass skiing in Better Off Dead to the next level. Made in 1984!? Really you can hardly tell..heh. Also see..UP the Creek for more 80's teen fun.

Aidan D (us) wrote: This a very underrated movie, while in no way does it take itself seriously. I still think it's worth a watch and if you've already seen this movie and don't like it, give it another watch and tell me if you're opinion changes.

Asghar B (de) wrote: I have no idea why it's getting such poor reviews. This is a OK movie, and Kevin Costner is epic. no reaa Bit racist in its political backdrop ..'dirty bomb to the Syrians'...because only Americans have clean ones! but apart from that, well worth a watch.

Jordan G (es) wrote: An incredible World War II film that doesn't rely only on the action to keep you interested.

Kai T (ca) wrote: Great movie though, but I like the original also. I had laughs in the movie also!

Spencer P (it) wrote: It's silly with love themes, but Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan pull it off for their individual roles to the point of snapping with electricity the few times they're together in the same frame.

Russell H (nl) wrote: Pretty good despite Reeves's humorously bad acting. It's funny because it's not intentional.
