However, the message from the documentary seems to be 'its okay when we do it'. Ignoring the fact that Stuxnet was only a small part of a larger attack that would shut down power grids in Iran which would lead to thousands of deaths

(it) wrote: Yeah this is five stars good in my book.. Excellent indie drama with big name actors remincising about youth and the path not taken. Poignant and pointed there is a lot to love in this film basically in three parts, present, flashback to youth, present homecoming.

I can let some of the amateur acting and mediocre sets slide because this movie actually does tell a good story, and it is certainly original. While it's nothing meant to scare you, the bad guy in this film is just a scary-looking actor, so he doesn't have to try very hard to prove that he's a jerk. I think that the lead actress - Rissa Walters - did a swell job with this film, and she easily has better acting talent than the rest of the cast. I look forward to future installments in the "Sarah Landon" series. If they can get actors with as much natural talent as Rissa has, the sequels can easily improve.

Direction and editing, while obviously attempting to mask a low budget (it's a Canadian film, AND a Roger Corman production, meaning the damn thing probably cost all of $50.00), are quite good. There's actual tension and atmosphere throughout, and the many stalk and slash sequences (including a simultaneously tense and goofy chase through the woods) are executed with flair. Corey Haim has a commanding presence. The cinematography is sometimes great and sometimes excessively muddy (but then again, a lot of current VHS or DVD transfers of 80s Roger Corman productions are poor, so maybe the blame should be directed at the now-foundered Artisan). Special effects are just on the verge of camp, which is where I like them to be in a B-movie like this. Easily makes for good Friday evening fun.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is really good in it, and do are the little kids which very rare that it's done, while being internationally annoying also. The characters are memorable, and they give off some lines that are really funny, even memorable at times. The villains are decent, and it's a bit different to see what their motivation is. The technique that the cop does with calming the kids down was different and interesting that I'm kind of surprised that teachers haven't done that before. The action is good, and I'm glad that it's a bit muted so that the movie can focus on the school and the chemistry between the cop and one of the teachers. It's a bit unpredictable and it's really funny enough that I was pretty entertained by it.
