Manuel N (nl) wrote: Horrible movie. My wife and I saw fifteen minutes of it and shut it off. Here's the scoop. The movie is a lot of people making comments and trying to be witty but never pulling it off. The plot is misleading. It's about a woman with severe relationship issues who has a "relationship" with two different boyfriends, both of whom know that they are sharing the same woman at different times. She is "bending all the rules" because supposedly there are so many men who openly have sexual relationships with two or more willing, enduring female partners. Please. The kid who plays her character as a child is the WORST actress. I wanted to shoot her. The scenes are not funny or entertaining. They are annoying. Save your money and your time. Don't watch it. Definitely a black mark on Bradley Cooper's list. I've enjoyed all of his other films that I've seen (5 or 6 of them).

Larry W (nl) wrote: More watered down than the non-musical "Auntie Mame" and at times feels quite rushed. It is a shame that Lucille Ball didn't stand a chance compared to Rosalind Russell either. But, still entertaining and of course tuneful.

Robbie H (it) wrote: its a shame when the avg person thinks of a great boxing film they immediately think of "rocky" and not look back at this wonderful underrated film...Paul Newman commands the screen with an incredible star making performance...he was terrific...the accent..the gestures...the ferociousness....Eileen Heckart was great as his mother and Pier Angeli as his wife...great cinematography...i even lol'ed a few times at a few scenes
Ca M (nl) wrote: I think they spend half their attention on the crime duo and half on the family. So you feel as if neither story is complete. Just part way through, as you start to get to know the characters.
Robot S (fr) wrote: This is a sweet, entertaining movie with a lot of heart. I don't understand why it got so bad reviews. It doesn't try to be anything it's not, it's a very watchable comedy with likeable characters and good actors. The chemistry between Hayden Panettiere(as Joe's daughter) and Tim Allen are a joy to watch. Jim Belushi as the martial arts-teacher is exactly what you expect him to be, and that's what he does best. It's one of my all-time favourite Tim Allen-comedies along with "For Richer and Poorer". Don't be frightened by the bad reviews. If you like unpretentious feel-good comedies for a lazy Sunday afternoon, this is a good choice.
