Kevin R (ag) wrote: Have you ever longed to be something else?Pelle is an ordinary boy, neither popular or a nerd, not overly athletic, and doesn't get noticed by girls. Pelle just wants to be noticed. One inauspicious day he is bitten by an ant, and turned into a super hero. He now gets the notoriety he deserves, but can he resist blowing his cover for popularity?"Here's your magazine.""Magazine? Are you insane? It's Spider-man."Ask Hasselbalch, director of Antboy: Revenge of the Red Fury, delivers Antboy in his directorial debut. The storyline for this picture is essentially Spider-man with kids; however, the characters and circumstances are interesting and I enjoyed watching it unfold. The acting is as you'd expect from a children's movie."Pain is your mind telling you you're alive."I grabbed this off Netflix as a movie my daughter and I could watch together. I actually watched it the other day without her and was surprised that it was a little better than anticipated. This isn't a complete waste of time and a nice movie for kids in elementary school to view. Overall, this is nothing special but a movie that may keep kids occupied."I'm sending you away with a flea in your ear."Grade: C

Ian F (nl) wrote: Clearly Clint Eastwood did his better work in his later years! Visually decent, the word decent is pretty much how this movie is... or okay or meh or bleh! The music is awful! The acting isn't bad- actually that's likely the best aspect of the film. The story is alright but the script is a little flat, stereotyped (to the point of almost being racist!) and otherwise bland. I love the bank scene however- hee hee!

Joshua C (jp) wrote: Funniest movie of the year so far. Fun Movie. Michael Cera was Hilarious! And any time Danny McBride comes on screen, he elevates the movie. (Comedies anyway)

Jordan F (jp) wrote: The accuracy of the narrative and unbiased style of direction ensures that this is a film leagues ahead of Michael Bay's 'Pearl Harbour'. And though it can at times lack blockbuster thrills, it remains a potent account of the decisions and mistakes behind the deaths of thousands.
