The acting was wretched (although the child can be forgiven because she's, you know...a child) and the photography bleak-chic without any redeeming qualities whatsoever. There are only so many times a movie can cut to rain streaked marble statues and dirty windows before the shopworn art wears off. Avoid it. It's haunting all right, but not in a good way.

(gb) wrote: Fairly typical Bollywood film, way too long, over-hyped, inappropriate dancing about, ineffective humour and it attempts to cover as many genres as it possibly can, as they always seem to do. This is not as bad as some I have seen, it doesn't have Amir Kahn in for a start, but it's still pretty cheesy and hard work to get through.
