Tom K (it) wrote: Everybody performs well, not to mention the direction. It's a film that doesn't have an awful lot to say. But it is the sort of film to respond: well, neither does any other. And at least we say nothing well.

Kieran M (jp) wrote: Great movie! It actually came out on my 11th birthday on March 7th 2008 in the USA but it came out August 22nd 2008 in the UK. Shame.

Brandon W (it) wrote: I currently know 8 people who have gone through a break up in 2016, myself included, so it seemed only fitting to watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall but the only thing I forgot was how funny this film was. I was laughing out loud from beginning to end. Jason Segel is amazing and Russell Brand is actually funny here. Crazy right? One of the funniest movies I've seen in a while and I highly recommend it to everyone especially if you are dealing with a break up of your own. It will put you in a better mood. I promise :)

Ian H (de) wrote: A great Italian comedy, with moments of heart-breaking drama, that looks at various stages of love. The characters are wonderfully acted and have depth, and draw you into their lives. The transitions between the various parts are also done well. A great way to spend two hours.

Jerry Y (mx) wrote: Some great old footage, and incredible new footage. Confirms my suspicion that the surfing pioneers were actually some of the original punks. This made me regret pretending to be a surfer with all my Channel Islands, Rip Curl, and Gordon & Smith clothes, instead of actually being one. My only complaint: the climax of the movie is an epic wave caught by Laird Hamilton. I don't think the director explained well enough exactly why it was so epic. It was big, yes, but we just saw a bunch of bigger waves. I understand it was more about the mass of the wave and where it was, but I need that sort of technical detail explained in a much more graphic manner. But that's a very minor complaint. You should definitely check this out.

Jim L (gb) wrote: This movie is twisted and a bit crazy. I think it is really dark, but much more mainstream for this type of gore than most.

Evan A (kr) wrote: It has questionable animation, but it's a great adaptation to the book with some really cool action sequences. (A-)

Brad W (ru) wrote: An interesting way to do a sequel. One which captured the exact feeling of the time it was set. I thought the different camera angles of each story was fantastic. Once again the soundtrack was the best part of this. An enjoyable sequel, just about as good as the first.

Thullin K (it) wrote: Almost so bad it's entertaining, but i was sober with not one else to socialize about the movie with while viewing, so it didn't leave anything but a negative impression. The Excecutioner himself is fucking hillarious with his over the top un-trained actingthe girls were there for the sleaze of it and there could have been abit more gore considering this was a time when drive in blood bucket films were being established.

George H (de) wrote: This is a really great movie for people who like jazz, set in paris in the 50's it tells the tale of two struggling jazz musicians falling in love and falling apart.great performances by Poitier and Newman.

Nicolas A (kr) wrote: Great war movie, love the story and the acting, didn't knew Sinatra was that good! also liked McQueen and Bronson their characters allot. Great Movie!!!!

Paul C (us) wrote: John Wayne as a fighting pharmacist - interesting enough the Duke's father was a chemist in real life. Another mediocre 'Republic' movie from Wayne - not that any fault can be laid at his feet. It's hard to put your finger on what exactly is going on until just before the last act - when the typhoid epidemic breaks out.

Trey M (es) wrote: Horribly lame remake. Never should;ve been made. Depp at his most annoying. Awful choice to use Wacko Pervo Jacko as the source for his Wonka.

Janis J (es) wrote: most romantic movie. Ever.

Arseniy V (fr) wrote: Not all of it quite worked for me, but the hit rate is high. To a point where pretty large bits of the carrot I was eating - got lodged in my sinuses. Like, SURPRISINGLY large. Something new every day. Anyway, its a fairly touching (partly Girls inspired) little character study, slash oldschool fast-paced stage comedy, slash a kind of coming of age tale, slash probably a bunch of other stuff I'm not well-read enough to catch. It's that word it taught me (probably so that I'd have something to describe it with): "pastiche". I can't quite figure out how much of it is inspired and how much is just filling space, but whatever the case - it was fun to watch.

Scott W (ru) wrote: I'm a big Hal Holbrook fan (his Mark Twain show was great), but thought Ray McKinnon did a nice job in this movie, as well.

Faisal A (gb) wrote: Highlander is a thoroughly entertaining action-fantasy picture that has achieved cult status to many. A bad bad movie which almost everyone likes. Great performances from Connery and Brown makes for a terrific execution of one of the all time greatest B-Movies!
