Brandon S (mx) wrote: This is the kind of movie where you really do get exactly what you would expect from a premise this ludicrous. That being said, I'd be lying if I said it isn't a fun ride. Uneven and even too strange for itself, but directed with a great deal of certainty.People have criticized the movie's lack of character definition and total disregard for coherent storytelling, but, I mean, seriously? The movie is called "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter." Allow me to say that one more time: the movie - the movie is called "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter." This is a movie that actually manages to take itself more seriously than I'd expected. It's just serious enough to keep me involved, and more than absurd enough to make me want more. Timur Bekmambetov did a great job, and gave the material a better film than maybe it even deserved (not to insult the source material). I don't care what the critics say, this is a downright fun movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it isn't, and I respect that.

Zack H (au) wrote: If you didn't know this was a mockumentary, this would be much more disturbing, but as it stands it's quite an interesting look into a trade often joked about, though never actually examined. This isn't a deep examination or anything, but it does reveal the desperate nature of man and just how dysfunctional a relationship can be. It's a strange and funny little movie.

John Y (nl) wrote: A film about desperate people trying desperately to have sex. It might have been funny if it wasn't so sad.

Natalie O (ru) wrote: Sweet film. Juliette Lewis was awesome as always. The soundtrack was the best

Kris W (fr) wrote: "Two brothers challenge the road. And life itself." "They're four one-of-a-kind people taking a chance...and going after a dream that will change their lives forever." One of the weaker Kevin Costner movies from his dominant period, which spannded from the mid 80's thru the mis 90's Waterworld debacle. Also a disapointing effort from John Badham (Wargames, Saturday Night Fever). Feels like Downhill Racer meets Breaking Away (same screenwriter coincidently).

Daniel M (kr) wrote: Very bizarre roles for Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, yet they pull it off surprisingly well. Dan Aykroyd and Rob Lowe are also a nice touch. Worth a watch, but not a film I'd watch twice.

Mark K (ag) wrote: Some of the clips are so poorly done that you can't help but laugh through the whole thing. Some are extremely well done particularly the last two including a woman who kills homeless people and sticks a needle in their eye then injects it in her own to see everything they saw. The last one about a strange sweet addiction was odd but intriguing. The first couple are miserable but hilarious. Overall I enjoyed my stay by I don't think ill he'd back anytime soon.
