Senior officer in Franco's army, it is that his son is involved in the civil war that tore Spain. Before joining the front, Rafael is assigned to a unit whose main mission is to take care of prisoners and execute subversive elements. The garrison was commanded by Colonel Masagual, a friend's father Rafael. Very old regime , the colonel who lives openly with his homosexuality Casado, his aide, is an ambiguous character, melancholy and cynical lucidity.

Josiah C (au) wrote: Another tired Disney film.

Robert G (gb) wrote: Ugh, this was pointless. I'm not a fan of the Bush presidency, or the man himself, but this film brought nothing to the table. Since the first half of the film deals with the assassination and everything leading up to it, all time left is for "well, here's is what would most likely happen", not of which is interesting or unexpected. Even if you like reading those "what if the south won the civil war" books, skip this movie. You will not miss anything.

Mark A (us) wrote: Babel is an ambitious, weighty drama, typically well-crafted and directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu. However, like some of his earlier films, it overreaches its grasp, filling its runtime with numerous characters and plotlines that feel too inorganic and unbelievable to connect

Alasdair R (it) wrote: Everything about this film suggests that the creators were high when they wrote fantastic planet. It wouldn't be a film I'd run to watch again.

Robert B (ru) wrote: Sword of Doom is well-shot and well-acted, but the lack of resolution and farcical ending make it impossible to rank the film among the foremost of the genre.

Shane D (ca) wrote: It's not that I didn't like it. Like all other cool, steely and sexy Eastwood films of the 70s it has all the right components. But it does lack some of the excitement and intrigue that comes along with some of his greater efforts.
