Jonathan P (ru) wrote: Informative almost to a fault. Marley is a great documentary for the first two hours but is about 30 minutes to long to keep viewers glued to the most interesting pieces. Marley however is essential watching for fans of the Reggae genre or just music in general.

John R (au) wrote: The cover to this DVD, as well as the synopsis, give the impression that this is a western but don't be fooled. It's basically a slasher flick with some holsters and long coats thrown in. I say holsters because the double action revolvers are all wrong. Further, the whole movie takes place in a jungle giving the impression of South American not North. Be warned, there is some extreme violence in this film, most of it directed at women. One scene, involving the vengeful male spirit using his fists to beat down a female gang leader, seemed totally unnecessary and gratuitous. If there's any redeeming quality to this film it's in the sound. I found it so well done it made me feel as if I was really there. Not going to say "Don't waste your time" but pretty damn close. Actually, maybe I will say it. "Don't waste your time".

Rabeea (kr) wrote: 2.5 only for the story with Shabana Aazmi and the one with Nana Patekar

Yun K (ca) wrote: Brilliantly disturbing yet innocent. Kore-eda is truly a master of creating a children's perspective of the adult world that we may not want to acknowledge.

Claudia R (br) wrote: A tense, action movie about a lot of corrupt people who are all connected thru the same bank. Very entertaining.

Jack G (de) wrote: another of Herzog's not-documentary not-fiction films, or just a, uh, film, it's zany and informative, with one of Herzog's funniest end shots.

Michael K (br) wrote: Superb rodeo drama from director Sam Peckinpah with excellent performances from Steve McQueen, Robert Preston, Joe Don Baker and Ida Lupino.
