Joe M (br) wrote: I love French film, and I was looking forward to this one. Yolande Moreau was excellent in the part of Seraphine de Senlis, and the production as a whole was impressive (locations, costume, acting, direction). It clearly showed the social context in which this artist existed, and was fascinating.By the end though, I found myself losing interest in the story. The failing for me came in the lack of real drama or emotion between the characters. I enjoyed the movie and was glad to have watched it, but there was a necessary spark missing which could have turned this from good to great.

Mark F (jp) wrote: I'm just a huge fan of Walter Elias Disney. I love his resilience, his optimism and hope. I love that he never gave in despite all the early rejections. I love his adventurous spirit and the way he took risks to make dreams come true. For all his flaws, this man will always be a hero who has impacted my life in immeasurable ways. This film does a great job of telling his story.

Baurushan J (kr) wrote: The story is about Jack Ryan once again played by Harrison Ford who is assigned to try and hunt a Colombian drug cartel after the villain murdered a close friend of the President. When Ryan discovers that the President's wealthy friend was in league with the cartel, a secret paramilitary force is sent to wipe out the drug lords. The force is captured by who cares. Jack works alongside a renegade operative named Clark played by Willem Dafoe. I swear, the villain/s in this movie is so boring and forgettable that I couldn't care less about them. They were barely in the movie. Ford is better as Jack Ryan. The 1990s cheesiness is visible and the patriotism is back and visible also that Patriot Games lost unfortunately. The Clear And Present Danger gets a weak 6/10.

A group of high school friends in the San Fernando Valley decide that they don't need to live with their parents anymore. Each girl has their own personal issues to overcome; but once out on their own, they discover life is more complicated than they anticipated and some of their issues that caused the problems with their parents will only get worse once they are on their own. "She got grounded." "How come?" "She's a virgin." Adrian Lyne, director of Flashdance, Fatal Attractions, Jacob's Ladder, Indecent Proposal, and Nine 1/2 Weeks, delivers Foxes. The storyline for this picture is very good and this is a great coming of age film in similar regards to Easy Rider. I loved the plot told from the female perspective and the acting was fantastic. The cast includes Jodie Foster, Cherie Curry, Marilyn Kagan, Randy Quad, and Scott Biao. "I hate my hips." Foxes was a movie my wife DVR'd and decided she didn't want to see. I decided to give it a shot and thought it was very good. The characters are well portrayed and delivered and the cast was very impressive. I was especially impressed with Cherie Curry. Overall, this is an excellent drama that was well written and is definitely worth your time. "No dip? Fuck you all." Grade: A

Tyler S (kr) wrote: What starts off as an interesting film, takes a turn into a jumbled mess by trying to overstate the message the movies is trying to make.Robert Deniro seemed strange casting in this role, and really did carry the movie at times.I thought Edward Burns was good here as an arson investigator.Basically 2 crazy Russians go on a strange killing spree and film there every move.Throw in a hot shop cop who is really a reality star played by Deniro and you have a movie glorifying the median obsessions with wanting to show violence for ratings.I felt like the movie didn't know what the hell it wanted to be as the second half evolved. There were surprises and decent action but it was too jumbled. It got really sloppy as it went on and had me scratching my head in the directions it went.
