Millo T (fr) wrote: The original idea was good, but it takes too much time to develop it, and I do not know if it has been done in the way which provides more yield. However, I add half a star because the real facts it is based on.

Thomas F (ru) wrote: Really funny-anyone who works in an office will appreciate it.

Charlie M (it) wrote: A man takes his girlfriend to Vegas to get married but he essentially loses her to a shark in a poker bet. In order to pay off the debt, his fiancee must spend the weekend with the gambling shark (James Caan). This comedy is definitely different and not for all tastes, but at its core, is a simple entertaining comedy that's worth a look.

Cameron L (ca) wrote: Almost as bad as Love Story!

Brad S (jp) wrote: Cheesy, but fun. This is for Chevy Chase fans only though!

William W (us) wrote: If ANY film I have ever seen comes the closest to taking a sophisticated look at what most of the world would consider to be the spoiled-rotten, prima donna, mega-talented amateur athlete (I would add 'American', but I believe they would be like Redford's characterization even if they weren't), Michael Ritchie nails it. Way underrated. And it makes you wonder, especially with the poster pictured here, if the title's a double entendre (and not just slickly-marketed sex-advertising), not merely for various OTHER curves Redford's character wants to/succeeds in navigating, but also the possible crash-and-burn Chappellet may have, if he continues his wild, burn-the-candle-at-both-ends lifestyle while participating in quite a dangerous sport. Sonny Bono-jokes aside, this kind of thing happens.Simply marvelous work by Redford, Gene Hackman, Ritchie and cinematographer Brian Probyn. Essential purchase and rewatches for sports fans and the work of Redford, Hackman and Ritchie especially. Easily my favourite of Ritchie's work, next to, sentimentally, 'The Bad News Bears' (which is a whole different kettle of fish altogether).

Greg W (it) wrote: OK remake of the paul newman 1958 pic, which I still prefer.

jason h (mx) wrote: Son of Frankenstein lacked something the others had.

Casey S (fr) wrote: While the characters are introduced in fun ways for the most part, Darkseid feels like an afterthought which makes the overall story fall flatter than it should.

GG M (br) wrote: I want 2 c this cus I luv Katy Perry an her music

Cassius J (br) wrote: Annoying characters, a talented cast that's utterly wasted, inconsistent animation, and an entire scene that's about somebody trying to crap pretty much proves to me that this movie sucks.

Jacob D (ca) wrote: Cool action, funny comedy, and great chemistry makes a fun time
