After avenging the death of his brother, Chen Shen (Bruce Li) returns home from Shanghai. He tells his mother (who went blind from crying over her son's death) that he will no longer fight. However, being a movie with the words "fist" and "fury" in the title, Chen doesn't keep his promise for very long. Japanese occupiers who are aware of Chen's history terrorize his family by, among other things, vandalizing his mother's store and beating up his brother. Later, they frame Chen for a murder. After the Japanese boss arrives in town and causes a ruckus, Chen breaks out of jail for a final confrontation. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

I can assure you there was absolutely no beginners luck for rookie director Dan Gilroy and that his sensational (2014) directional debut film "Nightcrawler" was hands down the BEST PICTURE OF THE YEAR! A genuine masterpiece from start to finish and it's remarkably the most surprising and unforgettable film that I've seen since Ryan Gosling's 2011 film "Drive."Equally responsible for the films magnificent outcome was Jake Gyllenhaal and what I truly believe to be his greatest performance yet. Gyllenhaal's impeccably gripping, sadistic, restless and unshakable performance of sociopathic loner Lou Bloom is considerably the most pristinely portrayed sociopath of all time, dethroning even "American Psychos" longtime number one sociopath Patrick Bateman played by Christian Bale.

Mike C (fr) wrote: I found the story telling elements very well crafted. Nice theme of home woven throughout the film, from Mary Fahl's song to open the movie "Going Home" to the death of Stonewall Jackson at the end. I also loved how Gen. Jackson's faith was so vividly and positively portrayed. I think the critics were off in their comments against some of the longer poetic soliloquies. Finally, this movie is rare in that it gives the Confederacy a voice more reflective of their ideals. Sensitively and intellectually engaging - highly recommended! It's too bad plans to make The Last Full Measure onto a movie have fallen through. It would round out the storyline presented by this film and Gettysburg.

Garrett C (us) wrote: Terrence Malick has achieved a Walker Percy-level feat of creating perhaps the definitive statement of our generation's modern malaise. "Knight of Cups" is about being a stranger in a strange land, and taking a quest upon yourself to move from darkness to the light. I think this quote from The Moviegoer sums up this film: "The search is what anyone would undertake if he were not sunk in the everydayness of his own life. To become aware of the possibility of the search is to be onto something. Not to be onto something is to be in despair." - Walker Percy
