Light the Rock 'n Roll spark with a Flame in the guise of Dave, Noddy, Jim and Don and their showcase of the rise and demise of rock band Flame. Set in the hardships of North England's seventies working class society and music scene. This build-up from rags to riches is a parody of realism and grit, with double-dealings and harsh unforgiving dog eat dog mentalities, and the golden rule; if you play with matches then you're going to get burnt, in the flames of the music industry.

Lee W (nl) wrote: "LARPing" - Live Action Role Playing is an obvious target for comedy, whether good-natured (as in Role Models) or mean-spirited, the idea of consenting adults enacting Dungeons & Dragons scenarios in full costume with foam rubber weaponry is rife for parody. Here we have a fun idea, where a group of LARPers inadvertently summon a succubus from hell to wreak havoc on a climactic role-playing event. The problem is in the execution; the core characters are thinly-sketched and unlikeable, and the special effects are cheapjack, with the central creature like something from the Power Rangers TV show. Worst of all, the gags almost uniformly miss the mark. Given the comparative quality of the cast, which includes Peter Dinklage and Summer Glau alongside the proven comedy chops of Ryan Kwanten, Danny Pudi and a completely wasted Steve Zahn, it's unforgivable that the humour is so under-par.

BC C (de) wrote: This Film Sucks! The opening is one of the most blatant rip offs of the opening to "The Shining". This film should have spent more time trying to be it's own horror film rather than trying to rip off other --much better--horror films

Ja J (nl) wrote: The director misused two good actors Shahid and Kareena in a stupid movie. There was no touch of JAB WE MET Chemistry. Kareena looks chubby throughout the movie, which currently she is not. Movie is outdated, Stupid and silly. I had laughed so much omg and of course music is so painful, there is not even one good song. It's boring, chuck it out...2/5

jacki w (nl) wrote: I love this movie with a meaning...if you catch it that is, a sad and heart warming movie with a very good ending.

Paul D (de) wrote: Cliched maverick cop thriller. It's not great, but is a great example of a lower-budget film from this genre from the early 90's era, including the constantly dramatic soundtrack that would only be used for parody nowadays.

Gala J (jp) wrote: One of my all time faves.

Blaine H (br) wrote: I really can't get into this movie; I understand it's low budget, but the one character I found funny wasn't in the movie longer than 5 minutes. I would only suggest this movie if you love terrible 80's humor.

Christine D (mx) wrote: Totally different kind of movie. I did not see that twist coming at all but it does explain some of the confusion I was having at certain parts. Very good movie. I would not have expected that at all.
