(es) wrote: GREAT Family Friendly Romantic ComedyPlease ignore the stuck-up, way too uptight movie critics from New York City - this is a cute movie. Be real - Adam Sandler's movies are never going to win an Academy Award, they are not serious, and they tend to be devoid of cussing. They are also very predictable. So what? Movies are about escape and this is a GREAT movie, especially for blended families. Thus, in a movie critic environment whereby the lack of some pathetically over analyzed environment that requires a social justice lesson and politically correct lessons, this movie gets bad reviews. Too bad - those critics who live in Midtown New York really cannot understand the simple joy of this film. For us "common folks" living in homes with children and possibly a divorce in the rear view mirror... with "commoner bills," "commoner lives," and "commoner budgets," - this is a cute film with some very funny moments that will definitely make you feel good. Please enjoy it.

(fr) wrote: From the edge (prostitution) of the City (a ghetto in Athens) comes Stathis Papadopoulos as Sasha, a street hustler. He quits his construction job, moves to the city itself, fantasies about marrying a girl, and confesses that at 17, he's too old to hustle since he started at 13. What a life! This is enough material to carve an interesting character study. Instead, director and writer Constantinos Giannaris has too many characters and it's confusing when so many characters appear on screen in remembering their traits or Sasha's group of friends. The director opts for style over substance so the movie is unfocused. Some of the scenes are purely homoerotic which is fine but is inconsistent with the drama. It's infuriating because I really wanted to like this movie. Overall, I'm glad that I viewed it since Papadopoulos is fine in the role and Greek movies are rare.
