The direction and cinematography are phenomenal and the production design top notch. It's a bit melodramatic at times and the story gets muddled in needless details, but theres not too much to dislike here. I'd definitely recommend this film to anyone who enjoys war films.

You'll love it or you'll hate it. I actually liked the concept. It wasn't just the dinosaurs that they were fighting but each other. In the end only one survives and you don't know if he still is or not. Guess we might see a sequel.

The bold fantasy story suits his cast of colourfull characters and helps them be creative and inhabit their character like never before. As ever he casts to his friends strengths and predictably a riot of colour, charming smut and social commentary ensues. The sweet irony of the characters flatly delivered jibes makes for real laughs as their innocent and naive delivery makes things all the more charming. The most laughs out loud I've had watching a movie in far too long.
