Gabriel A (gb) wrote: Not a bad film at all but I was mislead by the US trailer into thinking is was going to be action packed and funny. It was funny at times and whatever action is in here was good, the performances were good and it is a well written film but it didn't have that much action and I wasn't invested in the story. I just couldn't get into it.

It may not give you a great sense of specific facts or details about the members of The Algonquin Round Table, but the film does capture their moods and feelings . . . filled with wit, genius, self-loathing and bitter loneliness.

Allen Covert attempts to hide the fact he lives with his grandma and her roommates to his co-workers. The boss played by Joel David Moore was pretty funny. Basically its an Adam Sandler movie minus Adam Sandler.
