Don S (fr) wrote: A werewolf movie with the lamest CGI wolf effects wherein the wolves are virtually see-through. Aside from that, you get Nicki Aycox, who has a very nice body, in what is essentially a soft-core porn performance with Blucas throughout much of the movie. The underwhelming story, sporting one of the hugest coincidences in movie history, takes a backseat to the sexual encounters. Laughably bad, but not in a good way.

The story is intriguing despite not being that well-written and the fight scenes are fairly well-choreographed despite there not being as many as you might expect. Although, a very odd, wonky, and awkward quality of the film may hamper your experience slightly.

On a plus side it's nice to see Wesley Snipes in a solid production playing a real character, and he's actually quite good here. So too is the cast in general which has bags of experience, star power and talent. On the down side though this overall is a touch too ploddingly slow and about 20 mins or so too long, but the interconnecting ending is worth the wait even if it is a little too neat and contrived to be necessarily all that believable.
Norbert H (au) wrote: The story and the script is brilliantly written, believable acting from the main characters and as a whole package, it beats any blockbuster Hollywood hype movie any time :DThe moments are either tense, awkward, funny or all the above in one scene :DHighly recommended!
Allan C (kr) wrote: Terrifically fun comedy/heist film from director William Wyler. Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole are about as charming a couple as you can get a they plot to steal a valuable statue from a high security museum. I'm a sucker for heist films that involve getting around high tech security systems, whether it's, "Sneakers," "Mission Impossible," "Oceans 11," or whether it's 1960s-high-tech like this film, where boomerangs play a part if thwarting the system. The story is clever and fun, but it's really the cast, which includes Eli Wallach, Hugh Griffith, Charles Boyer, and especially Hepburn and O'Toole. There's also a pretty snazzy John Williams score (billed here as Johnny Williams). A good time all around!
