For the Bible Tells Me So torrent reviews

Ed H (us) wrote: Good documentary on the dirty side of modern medicine. The pharmaceutical companies seem to be running the whole system. A good watch.

Uriel G (es) wrote: It may be slow, but the very dynamics of the movie makes the purpose of it more understandable.A film that seeks to establish a depth about the problems of a relationship without falling into some of the cliches of romantic cinema.

Virginie B (au) wrote: Nice try but still bad movie

Maci J (gb) wrote: I loved this movie! It was very good and Amanda Bynes is a wonderful actress.

Ee E (ca) wrote: love it. it is a talent display movie. a must watch movie

James H (gb) wrote: Poor special effects make this a very unconvincing story. It has a cheap production, lame score and fair acting. Nothing great here.

Theo A (jp) wrote: Bon film , l'univers est visuellement beau et les prestations des acteurs actrisses convaincantes a voir pour son ct barr et potique pour les amateurs de l'absurdit et de l'trange

Matthew P (nl) wrote: Gorris' interpretation of Septimus' death was silly, but overall I prefer her interpretation of the story to Woolf's original novel. Nice direction too.

Brian S (de) wrote: The cheesy low -budgetness of this movie gives it a good thrilling and atmospheric touch to the flick. The acting is good and it's one of the older essential killer alligator movies to see. It isn't to gory though, but it has a lot of entertainment value to it. Recommended !!

Brian C (es) wrote: A brutally offensive exploitation flick, which in the end really isn't an exploitation flick. These truly horrid men rape, beat and torture this woman and leave her for dead. Then she uses her powers as a woman to get revenge on each of them. This movie is difficult to watch...i mean these guys are animals. But we truly cheer for her as she gets revenge.

Brian R (br) wrote: The 5 minute car chase is ok, but the rest of this 2h movie falls flat. Some people have called the acting as cool, but I would describe it as wooden. The pacing and editing are painfully slow by todays standards. Steve McQueen can act, but this movie doesn't highlight that talent.

Stuart K (nl) wrote: Produced, co-written and directed by Val Guest (The Quatermass Xperiment (1955), The Abominable Snowman (1957) and erm... Casino Royale (1966)), this is a science fiction disaster movie that feels very real with it's settings and concept, it still feels relevant even today, even now, it's onto something. Peter Stenning (Edward Judd) is an aspiring reporter at the Daily Express, but his editor Jeff Jefferson (Arthur Christiansen) only gives him menial stories, but Peter has encouragement and support from veteran reporter Bill Maguire (Leo McKern), who gives Peter some assignments to do. One such story Peter comes across is during a visit to the British Met Office, where the Earth's temperatures and weather patterns have been going haywire, and Peter learns that the Soviet Union set off a bomb at the North Pole, and the American's set one off at the South Pole at the same time, and it's knocked the Earth out of orbit and it's now closer to the Sun, and water has started to evaporate and with nasty storms and mists causing destruction, and the government rations water, which causes riots and more chaos. It's like the 2012 (2009) of it's day, only more believable and straight faced, but it's actually quite scare and it was a social comment on the effects of nuclear testing. But, it still stands up over 50 years on, and it's cast are believable and compelling, as is Guest's direction.

Wayne W (ru) wrote: Bette Davis was known to love to play parts no one else would take. Her aging process was very good in it's time. The only flaw here is, while she wasn't ugly, she wasn't beautiful like they keep referring to in the beginning of the film. A great melodrama with a message. It takes a while, but it's fun getting there. The final scene with Clause Rains is classic.

Cade H (kr) wrote: City of Ember tells the story of an underground city set in the far future and 2 kids who are trying to solve a map of how to escape the city. The world itself is not realistic and gritty like some films but rather childish and almost like a theme park. While the tone of the movie does have some tense moments it stays fairly light hearted and feeds to the adventure minded kid. It can be enjoyed by adults as well and the whole mystery aspect of it all keeps you watching and wanting to see the end result. The visuals in the film can get boring and when things do change you can tell it didn't have the largest budget. Some of the acting is bland but the 2 main actors played their parts well and really added to the excitement of what was happening on screen. If you have read the book definitely check it out and if you enjoy a fun, light hearted adventure this should be a good watch for you to.

Mad M (es) wrote: Far, far behind 1,2 and 4. Even behind 6. Better than 5. It was nice to see a gutsy angle, but isn't raw or entertaining like the first 2.
