Louis F (ru) wrote: Horrible. Turned it off after 30 minutes. And I like Alex Cox. This was like watching a horrible student film.

Jarkko H (br) wrote: The first Ice Age film series to start the film very well. The animation is a little clumsy, but pretty good. The plot is inventive and expenditure entertain comfortably.Humor is also good.

Stephanie M (es) wrote: This movie was hyped up to me a lot prior to seeing it and unfortunately I found it a bit flat. There was something off with the tone and the pacing that just felt... off to me. Ian Hart as John Lennon had some flashes of brilliance but I don't think played the charm up enough. Sheryl Lee was amazing as Astrid and really captured her aura. Stephen Dorff did a great characterization of Stuart as well (though his accent is abysmal) and though the actors playing George Harrison and Paul McCartney were great their characters got stinted to background players. I quite liked the juxtaposition of Astrid's artsy fartsy world with the hard nose rock adn roll of the The Beatles;Ultimately the problem with the movie was it didn't know if it wanted to be a Beatles biopic or a Stuart Sutcliffe biopic or how to make it both.

Michael R (ag) wrote: If you enjoyed the first film you would like this one. A bit more slicker than the first film but pretty much more of the same. Cop Action with comedy thrown in for kicks.

Henry W (br) wrote: liked this movie. it covers one of the most influencial people in history. dipcks ghandis life very well, was very long and you can find you self dazing off for some of the more boring parts of the film. but overall, very well done and deserves best picture Oscar win

Lee Van Cleef as Dakota who's a thief, attempting to break open a safe belonging to a Chinese man who also happens to be a tattoo artist. Within that safe are 4 different kind of doors with a photo of some girls and their rear ends. The last door happens to be the only one Dakota decided to use some explosives. And the Chinese guy ended up getting himself killed as a result. And when the final door was finally open, there was no gold nor money to be found. Dakota still gets arrested, and he is sentenced with noose around his neck. Meanwhile, back in China, on some Chinese Dynasty, the emperor announces an execution of Ho Chiang(Lieh Lo) and his family just because it was his relative, the emperor entrusted some gold bullions with, and upon the other Chinese guy's death back in the US, no gold was ever found, even though it was supposed to be used for some investments in the US. Out of chance, Ho Chiang is given the option to go back tot he US, to track down the gold bullion. He does this but with Dakota's help. One of the major obstacles are the Christian fanatic, which as soon as he hears about it, he immediately wanted to pursue that gold before Ho Chiang get it first. Intriguing premise that kept me glued, even though the comedy routines fall flat. 2.5 out of 4

Kevin M (ru) wrote: I mean what can I say, A possibly great adaptation of a book I've never read. It stands alone in my opinion when I think about the awesome team Depp and Del Toro made and why haven't seen them together more often. Maybe if they could blend a once upon a time in Mexico and Sicario idea together. Dope. One of my top 5 favorite quotes is from this movie.

Elijah L (us) wrote: With absolutely flawless comedic delivery, timing and unparalleled chemistry between the lead roles, this may be one of the funniest films I have seen. Perfectly scripted and casted, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang doesn't miss a beat.

Viraj A (br) wrote: Gripping, heart-wrenching, and moving "Road To Perdition" is certainly a worthy addition to the crime drama echelon that gives us a poignant look at the relationship between fathers and sons.

Michael M (ca) wrote: Back in the mid-to-late 80's, Tom Hanks hadn't yet entered his Oscar phase, and America had just started it's love affair with the affable actor. Movies like Splash, the Money Pit, Bachelor Party, Big, Dragnet, and the Burbs were his bread and butter and he was hilarious in all of them. This movie is still great 26 years later back when PG movies were actually watchable. It's just impossible not to laugh at him trying to eat a sardine on a pretzel during their visit with the Klopeks. Early Tom Hanks comedies are some of his best work in my opinion.
