(us) wrote: A must see for WW II and military aviation aficionados. This movie is based on a few months from the memoirs of an 89 year-old man who flew Spitfires for the RAF starting at age 18 in the Battle of Britain.
(kr) wrote: Just watched this last night. So many nights spent staggering along the evening streets of Seattle, San Francisco, Fairfield and Santa Rosa. Ever on the lookout for salvation and finding it in the most unseemly spots. These guys and many of those who appear in this documentary provided the score for the bulk of my adventures during the first half of the nineties. A great glimpse into their history and ours.

(es) wrote: Sweet Italian movie about a woman who develops a relationship with two men who have a profound impact on her life. I like that it went beyond the usual woman meets man plot line. The old man shares his passion with her that was not sexual and his legacy will live on through her.
(fr) wrote: Wow! What a waste of time and money! This movie is so obvious and un-original. Just plain stupid and contrived!

(mx) wrote: Although one of the least liked, I happen to appreciate this film tackling a very relatable issue amongst teenagers which Is teen pregnancy. I think the idea of exploring the subconscious within an unborn child is fascinating. Technically this movie was pure imagination run amok which I dug. If you notice, the tone goes much darker with a Freddy hidden in darkness. Visually gothic. Doesnt have much of a body count but they made up for it with story and conceptual substance. Not the best Nightmare film, but one of the most interesting and visually appealing entries in the series that keeps proving that you can make a slasher film with creativity and good ideas.
(fr) wrote: Se tivesse um oramento maior e um roteiro melhor, quem sabe esse filme no tivesse ficado muito bom.
(mx) wrote: Never fails to stir emotions. Some truly poignant moments, such as Stan Gable's lament 'those nerds are a threat to our way of life' and stirring finale. Hard to pick a favourite scene but I would say Takashi's tricycle race victory, nerds banishment to the gymnasium and Lamar's winning javelin toss all compete.
(es) wrote: This movie is so bad I threw out the DVD after watching it. The half star is undeserved.
(jp) wrote: This is a fun movie. Yes, it has a giant crocodile as the main character, but the entire time you're watching this movie, you can see it's very tongue in cheek and the actors are in on the fun. Don't take this movie seriously, just enjoy the ride, the laughs, Betty White's amazing one-liners or Oliver Platt's awesomely campy (but perfect) performance.
(jp) wrote: The hook here, the catch (and a very good one it is) is that instead of the usual 1 guy with amnesia (how many films??? and who could count the number??? I used to wish I would get amnesia, but noooo. Neither have I ever met anyone who has either!) there's 5 guys with amnesia. And in a minute they figure out A) their memory is ever so slowly returning and that B) not everybody's in the room's a boy scout. There could be foul play in the immeadiate future ... just a lot of fun, a good script, nice ensemble performances, and the proverbial twist that zings right at the close.
