Spencer K (es) wrote: A much better film that Flowers In The Attic. Of course nothing exceptionally great, but it was very enjoyable.

Paul D (au) wrote: Slow to begin, once the themes of comradeship, honour and family prevail this becomes quite a poignant and ultimately saddening representation of village life in mid 20tth century India.

Lauri A (mx) wrote: Good movie. I must say I laughed alot.

Evgenia F (fr) wrote: Even though I agree with Dawkins' ideas I was rather annoyed by this film. He keeps repeating the same thing, how science is the only truth and religion is based on blind faith (nothing new there) and he is rather arrogant in the way that he goes around telling people that they are wrong. Not the most effective way to make a point. He comes across as a fanatic, only worshiping a different "god".

Kurt B (us) wrote: I simply wanted a film in which Jeremy Irons stared as he is one of my favourite actors of all time and this is what popped up in Wikipedia. It starts with Sir Jeremy robbing a jewellery store in the most amazing way possible; he then uses the money to purchase a Yot and then enters a race but the poor guy keeps having black outs so he wakes up in Morocco harbour and basically he meets a girl and it goes from there. The difference is that they are both having these blackouts and soon they discover they both have brain tumours and go on a massive adventure to get rid of them. The film is also classed as a psychological thriller as there is a robbery involved towards the end, there were so many elements thrown in that the film almost never came together but thanks to Jeremy Irons I think his convincing acting and just being a stud saved this. I hadn't a clue that some of this film was dubbed in places until about 60 minutes in when Jeremy's voice didn't quite fit his lips but I suppose I never noticed because the actors do their own voices.

John B (ru) wrote: I came out of this wanting a gorilla for a pet, which is a strange reaction to have from a message movie about how we and the apes are not that different. It's striking stuff, but doesn't delve deep enough.

Milky W (br) wrote: Perfection! . this movie simply proves that there are another relationships in this world are noble and noone on this earth named them yet.

Michael D (jp) wrote: Astounding documentary - a tragic self-portrait that shows just how difficult it is to move on from a brutal upbringing. Unflinching and really moving.

Trill F (us) wrote: No one can tell you that these aren't fun to watch.
