Lisa P (au) wrote: I thought this was a great depiction of military life. The story of the USS Indianapolis is more than tragic. This is going on my list of great movies. And such a great performance by Nic Cage. Bravo!

Sinead M (es) wrote: Enjoyable, well-paced, sufficiently gripping thriller. Sinister leanings from early on re the intentions of the half-wit co-captor keep the viewer adequately hooked in anticipation of what fate is to come for captive Ryan Phillippe. Said half wit is played to dusturbing perfection. The film holds back a bit however on realism which could have brought a darker, more cutting vibe and more lasting impression.

Ryan W (de) wrote: Pretty decent R-rated comedy. These are hard to come by.

Dave R (br) wrote: Ya this movie was pretty bad I must say action was crap blood looked so fake and everything was just crap big time low budget movie for sure just a dumb movie

Kelly M (us) wrote: cute and stylish--a little forgettable

Felipe F (nl) wrote: Ghost World deftly handles the teen angst thematics due to Terry Zwigoff's comical deadpan atmosphere, a piercing script and charming lead performances.

Tony C (ca) wrote: Bravo Hollywood for giving us this gem. Chris Cooper was great, as always, and there's plenty of nudity to go around. And is there a better moment in cinematic history than when David Schwimmer does a line of coke off of a girls rack? I think not. Like a fine wine, this movie gets better with age. I remember first seeing it in a hotel room on a high school basketball road trip.... good times

Herman J (de) wrote: Denzel at his best!!! Starts out one way then the story pumps out a thrilling turn. Awesome!!

Brian A (br) wrote: Don't get in between a man and his car! John Carpenter's influence turns this seemingly jalopy of a storyline into a feature on Car And Driver.

John O (nl) wrote: From the action packed opening sequence, to the "Won't Get Fooled Again" ending, this is awesome, badass, and VERY high quality all the way through.

Augustine H (de) wrote: Andrzej Wajda is always fond of portraying his motherland's important historical moments. Man of Iron is a semi-documentary picturing the Gdansk Shipyard Uprising and the birth of Solidarity Movement led by Lech Walesa. Through flashbacks and references to his previous film, Man of Marble, we are presented the courageous Polish resistance, a precursor to the prominent fall of the Communist experiment. Dealing with the battle between conformity and conscience, Wajda exhibited his patriotism with a hope of a better future in this film.

Geoffrey D (ca) wrote: One of the most outrageous films, I've seen ... I love it! It's quirkiness had me laughing all the way through. A classic Disney film indeed

Shawn S (nl) wrote: This has an excellent, provocative story and a great cast.
