Nic B (br) wrote: Overstylized, unfunny and about an hour longer than it needed to be, Any Questions for Ben is a meandering mess of a film that I can't get my head around - so many baffling directorial choices were made, and the love story it tells is so meandering and insincere it's impossible to believe. It might have some nice qualities, but it's mostly pretty awful.

She is able to attend, but only by helping her mom in the kitchen at the camp between classes. When Shane Gray (Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers) who is teaching at the camp to re-shape his image, he hears her voice and he falls head over heels for her. He then goes out in search of her. This movie is a big copy cat of high school musical and it really shows in this film.

Neil O (nl) wrote: Above average gay 'message' movie that sometimes come over as being too preechy and tries to cover too many issues in it's running time. Nevertheless the film does acknowledge the cliches, and there are some solid observations in the its scattergun approach. The debate about love vs sex is a strong one, and gives the solid, extremely good-looking cast a chance to play some surprisingly serious scenes amid the more over-the-top queeniness. There are some hilariously funny moments and witty dialog so if you can take the pushy message with a grain of salt, it's an extremely enjoyable romp.

Dann M (us) wrote: Ghosts of the Abyss is one of the best Titanic documentaries; delivering a rich and interactive look at the wreckage site. With new specialized equipment, James Cameron leads a new expedition to the wreckage of the Titanic and goes further into the ship than ever before. Using a blend of underwater footage superimposed with live action sage footage, the film delivers a real sense of the dimensions and feel of the ship. The film also has an added sense of poignancy, given that Cameron's expedition coincided with the 2001 attack on the World Trade Center; presenting an interesting parallel of one disaster being explored during the mist of another. Ghosts of the Abyss is a fascinating documentary and serves as a perfect companion piece to James Cameron's 1997 epic film; revealing the fact behind the fiction.

Conner R (ag) wrote: I will say that Mia Farrow in this is amazing, easily one of her best performances and one of the most adorable characters. It's as if she channels the spirit of Audrey Hepburn with her. I really like the overall concept as well, it's a very interesting way about telling a love story. What really kept me from loving the movie was Dustin Hoffman's John. Not so much the acting but the character himself, he's just such a scumbag and poor excuse for a "good guy". Maybe that's what was trying to be accomplished, but it just seemed like he was the voice of the story. I'd still say this a great movie, it just doesn't have you rooting for the two to end up together.
