Grant F (gb) wrote: This wasn't a perfect film by any means but I did enjoy it. I wish there were more musical numbers but what we had was great. The acting was decent throughout, well besides the stage acting, but maybe that was the point? Anyways, I liked it and it did what it was made to do.

Tim G (mx) wrote: This probably just reflects my own bias but I found this movie more sad than anything.

Recomendable.

Alex W (de) wrote: A lovely little movie about a group of misfits who try and triumph over the odds. Don't listen to the critics, this movie is awesome! Just a good clean fun movie. Probably Matthew Perrys best movie, and Farley on top form as always! RIP Chris Farley

Flemming J (nl) wrote: Simply an incredible movie. Haunting and powerful. Gulpili is fantastic and the cinematography and soundtrack is absolutely perfect.

Kevin S (au) wrote: The whitemans are a rich but not very happy family. Dave whiteman makes coat hangers and his wife barbers and heavily into yoga and meditating. Their son has a problem and is confused about his sexuality. Their daughter is anorexic does not eat. And there is Jerry who is homeless and lives on the street with his dog. When he wakes up and find out that his dog is gone he decides he has had enough. He tries to drown himself in the whitemans pool. Dave saves him and then takes him in. Jerry ends up living with them and helps change their lifestyle. This is a good movie and pretty funny at times and is sometimes off the wall crazy. But it's all good.

Richard G (ca) wrote: Packaged as a horror thriller, this is really a disaster movie in disguise. The "suspense" is very drawn out before any action begins, and then the disaster at hand is cinematically restricted due to special effects based only on editing. One interesting aspect was seeing Leslie Nielsen's performance as a total a-hole. All in all, this is pure grindhouse.
