Christian W (br) wrote: This is a good example that you need more than a great script and highly skilled actors to put on a good show. You also need a half-decent director.
Charles C (fr) wrote: This film is hard enough to find, but trying to find the original PG-13 version is pretty impossible. Beautifully animated, produced be George Lucas, features Lorenzo Music (the original animated Garfield), and featuring director David Fincher as an effects artist. If yhou can find it...SEE IT!

Anthony I (ru) wrote: A character study/intimate look at a decaying American family. The performances are extraordinary. Donald Sutherland and Mary Tyler Moore are phenomenal as the struggling parents, one more sympathetic than the other. Timothy Hutton's performance, however, is one for all time. Conrad is one of the most interesting characters of any movie I've ever seen. He's complicated, thats why. Complicated like any teenager he represents. Few films shed light on these kinds of domestic issues, and especially, the complicated realm of depression.
