Ileana A (kr) wrote: I do understand Twilight's director comments about how she put Twilight into success but I don't think Twilight is a good example of strong women.

Bob V (nl) wrote: Coming of age rom-com that straddles an uncomfortable line between Sex and the City and The Devil Wears Prada. While good enough to deserve a wider audience than its straight-to-DVD status allowed it, this film is by no means exceptional. We(TM)ve seen all the story elements plenty of times, not just in Prada, but also The Nanny Diaries, Confessions of a Shopaholic; hell, even Legally Blonde; just to name a few, and the director doesn(TM)t combine them in ways to knock our socks off. The saving grace here is the excellent acting from the irrepressible Alec Baldwin, and especially Sarah Michelle Gellar, who manages to hold the whole thing together and delivers a performance that lets the film (mostly) skate across its more wobbly patches.

Daniel R (gb) wrote: This is one of those movies that everyone has to watch. The ultimate Australian movie, it has great actors, great script, and great direction. It's a taste sensation!

Tom D (gb) wrote: This film is such an adorable laughing stock. It's good enough in a very bad way...

Courtney K (gb) wrote: hmm; not that i've seen very many, but i'm pretty convinced that all Lynch's movies are weird. i like that, though -- trying to find the deeper meaning or whatever is kind of a fun game.

Rob F (es) wrote: This probably sucks but it sounds funny.

Marc L (us) wrote: Another flick on Vietnam from Coppola, but this time it"s COMING HOME style, with a poignant character study about the post-war effects on a deceased soldier's family. James Caan makes a comeback with a surprisingly toned down performance that makes this one worth of interest.

Elia D (ag) wrote: Definitely a case of art-imitating life. This was the perfect role for Errol Flynn and he played it brilliantly. I love all of the movies he did with Alan Hale and this one is no exception.

Rachel B (mx) wrote: Not typical Kurosawa in terms of some of the experimental style present and the fact that it has a female protagonist. Otherwise his humanist themes are in place. Well done, but not my favorite Kurosawa film.

Sharon N (ca) wrote: This movie is awesome. If you didn't like Grandma's Boy you have NO sense of humor at all.

Needfor S (gb) wrote: the cover popster is very hot.
