Lee M (ag) wrote: Fairly clever and original, but overstretches its limited production values.

Amar M (it) wrote: just want to see it.

Tyson P (us) wrote: worste of the series. acting was annoying. the feeling of the first three movies was definatly lost in this one and necropolis. Stick to the first three these 2 are shamefull.

Michelle C (it) wrote: "and they're back to make you laugh once again."

John T (es) wrote: The Pimp Daddy from Entourage and Buffy the Vampire Slayer? How can you miss?

Ryan K (nl) wrote: Now when I was young I watched this and said to myself..........WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!!!I was so little and yet I hated this movies guts. It was absolute shit! And I mean it was shit. Fuck this movie and it can kiss my ass!

Matt M (es) wrote: The idea of mixing art house style martial arts films and westerns is interesting. However, the film is stylistically overdone and the built upon the most conventional of archetypes.

Weul S (gb) wrote: A fascinating tapestry of vignettes of twentysomethings in Austin, this film, I believe, is the perfect college film. If I had discovered this gem in my impressionable years, I know I would be a director now.

Jim R (gb) wrote: A very gritty and brutal film about the seedy Hollywood underbelly. I thought parts were excellent and way ahead of its time but most of it is forgettable, standard B-movie fare. Wings Hauser does give an incredible performance as Ramrod. No joke.

Paul L (fr) wrote: "Barfuss" is probably the most genuine and touching Romantic Comedies that I have ever seen.Till Schweiger's direction is understated and unobtrusive, just the right touch for this genre of film. His portrayal of Nick Keller is perfect. Nick has chronic trouble holding onto any consistent line of employment. With the exception of his Mother, he dislikes his family and they dislike him. A bit of a crook, a bit of a con-man, but at the end of the day a likeable and honourable man.Johanna Wokalek's beautiful performance of Leila, a post traumatic disorder effected, but naive and innocent, young woman is something to behold. The film's title, "Barfuss" derives from the fact that Leila dislikes wearing shoes of any kind and walks around barefoot. Nick saves her from hanging herself and she instantly attatches herself emotionally to him. In her mind, she is his girlfriend and she behaves as such. Her naivete and innocent honesty, I think, is what wins over Nick's world-weary and cynical heart and what starts off as him protecting her becomes true love. While using the formula of your typical Romantic Comedy, "Barfuss" is anything but. I challenge anyone, male or female, not to have a tear in one's eye at the end of the film.Simply brilliant!

Movie Man C (gb) wrote: If you are a teacher, in the UK, and think you've got it tough here, watch this movie. Sometimes people do actually want to help others to achieve and in doing so make things worse. It's a compelling storyline of a teacher in a very rough, gang populated, school trying to make something for his students other than a life of drugs and crime. This takes its toll on Mr Garfield (Samuel L Jackson) and other means of teaching them lessons are adopted to put his point accross. It's a great character driven storyline and depending on your outlook on life you'll find yourself siding with some characters more than others. Definetly not a feel good film, more thought provoking than anything else. Brilliantly shot and the acting it first rate.
