Aidan H (gb) wrote: Pretty decent two-hander remarkable for yet another fine performance from Blethyn as one of two concerned parents abroad on the mean streets of London town (the other played with magisterial presence by Koutaye) as they try to track down their missing children. Using footage from the terrorist outrage that rocked the city in 2005, director Bouchareb neatly encapsulates the mood of the times by reflecting the country's paranoia in Mrs. Sommers' Middle English tics. Bleak and occasionally powerful, LR is a poignant and timely reminder not to let hate rule the heart.

Vincent P (ru) wrote: An entertaining mess, but oye vey, what a mess. It's like half of the people involved thought this was high camp (see David Boreanaz's performance) and the other half, that it was deadly serious drama (see Tara Reid's performance). It's worth sitting through to see Dennis Hopper seriously slumming it as a jive-talkin' Satanic priest and Danny Trejo shaking his man titties around in a climatic crow revival dance. Hilarity.Hm. Guess the camp side won out.
Pavandeep S (ru) wrote: It was beautiful seeing how Doyle applies his visual sense to directing his own film, which I think is a highly impressive film. I have always believed that cinematographers were always neglected as auteurs and watching this, it really displays what wonders can be done with the visual story-telling techniques that they have in abundance.

Shane D (au) wrote: The original Teen Wolf isn't that great a film, it really is only the combined love of Michael J Fox and general nostalgia for nutty 80s films that keep it's memory alive...this sequel struggles to say the least. It's not that Jason Bateman is bad in it, it's just that everything else around him is either a direct rip-off of the original or a an average at best alternative. There is a "study montage" scene for crying out loud.

Tristan G (br) wrote: Not my thing. It tries to be somewhat of an S&M love story, but there wasn't enough substance or imagination for me to really get into it.

Manolo P (de) wrote: An absolutely beautiful film through which Disney offers us one of the most valuable and powerful works that will never be forgotten. It is an incomparable legacy that anyone of any age, context and even age continues to amaze with its supreme music, beautiful images and deep messages that over time can be revived and understood with different meanings. I could not divert my attention and great astonishment as I enjoy it once more after so much time.
