Jim G (br) wrote: Three of five stars for the drama movie. A good solid story and characters that are very interesting. A group of terrorists get trapped in a restaurant holding several people hostage. Throw-in an interesting investigator character and you have a good movie. Very low tech, but nicely photographed. The story could have moved a bit more quickly. Yes, this is worth your time to watch.

Bill T (nl) wrote: Fun interpretation of Dracula for the black people, Blacula doesnt really follow the Dracula story at all, it's just a black guy with fangs running rampant in the city. Dated and very homophobic (They use the word "Fag" a lot), it might turn some people off, but it's got that slow motion shot of a female vampire running towards the camera, which always scares the kiboodle out of me.
Greg R (it) wrote: It borrows a lot from It's a Wonderful Life and Back to the Future, two of my favorite movies. This movie is about a half and half. Half this movie I like, the other half not as much. However, there is one scene, you'll know it when you see it, it's so sad, it's hard to watch again, you can't believe it would be in a Adam Sandler Comedy.

Raji K (de) wrote: Tevye played by Chaim Topol, is a simple peasant in a small Russian village who works hard, loves his god and adheres to tradition. The small and pious town lives this way oblivious to the ways of the changing world. Tevye has 5 daughters, and it is his job to be sure they are married through either a matchmaker or his own accord. When they begin to challenge this tradition, and as the world changes, he finds his faith and tradition questioned and looks for god to help. While the Russian revolution looms, each daughter presents a different challenge to his faith and tradition. Chaim Topol carries this film as I would not have enjoyed or finished this 3 hour saga without him. The songs are solid, and the film has some great moments, but overall I was hoping for more of an epic film.

Grant H (jp) wrote: Pretty good movie. As far as plots go, it has some interesting ideas, the editing is mostly stylish and for horror fans, it's gleefully gory with some excellent special effects and has some great performances, especially Weston and Simpson. The problem with this film is it tries to go for a horror-comedy blend reminiscent of a Rob Zombie film, but just isn't consistent enough in its blend, and the film also features a lot of audio issues, whether using too much music during dialogue, or microphones practically blowing out on actors while talking, especially on Sidibe and Simpson.
