Damian M (jp) wrote: Enthralling and coherent at first, pretentious and nonsensical at the end. The emperor has no clothes. Don't waste your time.

Tom L (us) wrote: despite peoples review i thought this was a great catch on a great mans life and a real iconic documentary of how one of the greatest genre of music came about. 8/10 for a film 10/10 for a documentary.

Kristal C (br) wrote: A poorly constructed doumentary that probably would have worked better as a short. The idea is interesting but I couldn't help but think the film was being sort of condescending to Dallas and Wayne.

Kristopher E (it) wrote: Thanks to a friend I saw this gem and I have to say it was amazing we watch a man swerve on the road gunning for the cane toads we learn somthing ...somthing we always knew ....we are insane haha ...but fucking funny too.

Josh S (jp) wrote: Another stupid 80's action.

Cresswell S (ag) wrote: funny romantical movie.

Chelsea H (ru) wrote: The insanity made up for the soap opera-like story. It jumped around way too much. Worth seeing. I would also like to note that this seems to be one of the movies that Tarantino ripped off for Kill Bill. Watch the end of the movie and you will know what I mean.

Private U (ca) wrote: Some camp value in the presence of Lon Chaney, and the silly premise, but the execution is dull and unexciting, resembling a very low-grade noir rather than a sci-fi/horror film. Worth seeing maybe once, if you're a fan of 50s B-movies.

Elliot H (br) wrote: Nicely shot, but the quick fast dialog and the creepy guy with the eyebrows who betrays Huston, really ruined the film. Other than that it had potential for a cool intrigue film. The ending fell flat. I liked the cinematography, nice way to capture an almost noir style. Not one of Capra's best, but definitely worth having in the collection to see the evolution of Capra's films. It was good representation of the America's obsession with money, a topic that is just as relevant today as it was then.

If there is he should be fired or at the very least moved to the Mail room at Fox. He gave this horrible, Sophomoric movie a great review, but then again according to the box the movie came in so did Ebert and Roeper. Shame on you guys. I guess Payola is back and healthy again. I paid $4.99 for this bomb at Wal-mart and after fast forwarding through half of it I figure I paid about $4.97 too much. I will give them the 2 cents for the price of the box. Unbelievably BAD. If you do want to waste 100 minutes of your life, do yourselves a favor and fast forward to the last chapter and you will be able to guess everything that transpired in the 90 minutes prior. What a waste of old beat up cars and blank rounds this was. Ken K.
