I enjoyed it, even if it didn(TM)t exactly convince me that I need to keep anything other than furry, four-legged creatures in my house. I admit: some of the larvae close-ups gave me the wigs (don(TM)t even get me started on the Ferrari-driving dude who supplements his sake with WASPS! And then drinks! IT!), but there(TM)s also plenty of beauty to look at: dragonfly wings, fluttering butterflies, and crickets chirping happily. Juxtaposing images of beetle hunters, cricket keepers, entomologists, insect markets and adorable squealing children who keep pets of the squirmy variety, Director Jessica Orek draws us into a culture where every living creature " even the tiniest one " is equally important. Contrary to its B-Movie title, Beetle Queen Conquers Tokyo is actually an engaging documentary about Japan(TM)s fascination with all things insect

The ending spoils the whole film

i enjoyed it alot. . i liked the cast and premise of the movie. . they rip you apart. . . these vamps dont seduce you. . . . Very intense vampire flick

Logan M (au)

Dated and just not that funny, Robert Altman's film adaptation of the satirical novel doesn't have half the cultural impact that the TV series that followed it did

Malcolm L (jp)

A lovely film that is very straight forward

She had great hair though. Luckily I do, but I was still super confused when the two male leads started boning each other after all the fuss over this girl. It's really more of a concert DVD with a twist than a proper movie, so if you don't like BSS I would skip this one

The whole film is pretty dull with nothing much happening anywhere, one minute its a 'who done it?' the next its a slapstick farce? could work but here it simply doesn't and its a shame as everyone loves Wilder and wants to see him in good films. Very weak and lifeless comedy/murder/detective film which can't quite decide what it really wants to be overall, Wilder of course is a comic genius and Radner was also at her peak of powers but neither really come across as funny or interesting
