Ranvis F (br) wrote: Nice story, with a few interesting twists and turns, but you see them coming most of the time. But Frank Krueger ruined it by didn't know how to act naturally. David Carradine certainly puts a sparkle onto this otherwise barely watchable flick.

Todd S (gb) wrote: Ray Tierney (Edward Norton) comes from a family of cops, and was the best of the lot until an accident in the line of duty cut his career short. One night, after multiple officers are shot and killed, it becomes clear that there is a large corruption ring at work within the NYPD, and the brass turn to Ray to find out the truth, a truth that could lead him right back home. Edward Norton is truly a chameleon in that he can play absolutely any role and be believable. It doesn't matter if he's some computer geek or a tough as nails cop, he always does a great job and no matter what he's in, the film is always going to have an air of credibility for it. The rest of the cast, as well as the story are also pretty good, but this film isn't without it's problems. As with other films that have complex stories and large casts, the story moves so quickly and characters are introduced so fast, that it's difficult to keep track of what's going on and nearly impossible to remember who is who. The story is great and the main characters are well written, but there is so much going on, that it is very easy to get lost in all the side stories. The bottom line is that Pride and Glory would be better suited as a TV series than a movie, but then you wouldn't have the big named cast, and it probably wouldn't last four episodes. The actions scenes are great, the main characters are intense, and the story was terrific if not a bit more complicated than it needed to be.

victor l (ag) wrote: :rotten: I love your Work is one of the most horrendous, pointless and boring films I've seen in my whole life. It is an attempt to show the audience the disadvantages of being famous, but the movie is so sloppily done that I never cared about it, I just saw Giovanni Ribisi playing a paranoic actor who actually sucked at his profession surrounded by furniture actors with irrelevant dialogues, unnecessary scenes and extremely confusing and incoherent screenplay. I'm sorry to admit it but I fell asleep while I was intending to watch this crap.
Aaron B (kr) wrote: Heartwarming tale of a man who carries his formerly-conjoined mutant twin brother around in a picnic basket so that they can exact sweet revenge upon the doctors who surgically separated them against their will years earlier. The mutant brother uses his powers of telepathy, super-human strength, and moving via stop-animation while the normal brother displays a formidable arsenal of weapons that include sucking face, naked night-running, and having REO Speedwagon hair. Everyone should watch this movie.
Dave H (au) wrote: Nothing special, standard revenge western, but the opening scene is pretty damn confronting for the era, and Kirk and his cleft are awesome.
Mark H (ag) wrote: I couldn't make it to the end of this film; the acting was below average and the plot, while its premise was good, was executed so poorly. A lot of needless scenes and very little suspense considering its genre.
