David L (fr) wrote: This is not really what I would call horror as the only squeamish attribute is that I'm now likely to come away not ever wanting to draw money out late at night. Not that I know of any ATMs that are situated in the middle of deserted car parks, but just in case, this film has taught me to avoid them. It is an interesting watch as we basically witness a hooded figure preventing three youngsters from returning to their car after drawing out cash for a pizza. Why he's doing it I don't know, and that's very irritating as we don't even find out come the end of the film either. It builds up and builds up nicely as the trapped three struggle to keep warm and conjure up fresh ideas as to how they can escape but the shadowy figure appears to have done his homework and is always one step ahead of them. It's the sort of villain I could play as he has no spoken lines and simply strolls around the perimeter of the enclosed ATM, looking menacing, and occasionally bashing someone over the head who encroaches on his fun. The ending albeit frustrating is clever but not at all revealing and it leaves so many important questions unanswered to which I hate in a movie. Looking back, there's relatively little action and it's all about whether they will escape or not, so when we do find out the answer, there's nothing worthwhile repeating this again for. It's not gory or jumpy but more like an episode of Jonathan Creek whereby you're all wondering how it's all going to conclude. Unfortunately, in this episode we don't even find out who the killer is which for me renders the whole thing relatively meaningless. It has its moments of entertainment but alas it has many more moments of frustration and disappointment.

Sorry for the performers, but it was impossible to make a great movie like that... 3D effects were just OK... Co-produced by James Cameron, but he's not a great producer... It used lots of Beatles songs, but it was boring too... Anyway I'll sell this 3D Blu-ray... Big disappointed...

Adam A (nl) wrote: "Men In Black" is a charming, buddy-cop action-comedy that delivers entertainment thanks to its good star chemistry from Jones and Smith but it doesn't really portray what the theories hold of the men in black, however it does it in its own way.
Tatsuhito K (it) wrote: I enjoyed it. It's definitely too long and some of the characters bugged the crap out of me (Rhys Ifans' in particular is unbearable.) But it's charming, the dialogue has wit, and Roberts and Grant have wonderful chemistry together. It's harmless, cliched, utterly preposterous, but not without awe-inducing moments. Notting Hill is a thoroughly enjoyable romcom.
