(it) wrote: I like time travel movies, but this one has no redeeming features. Anybody resolve all their issues if they can just go back in time and redo the same events with knowledge of what will happen.
(mx) wrote: Not bad. Some plot holes and a high level of suspension of disbelief required at times, but is reasonably suspenseful and creepy. I actually enjoyed it.

This one is much more simplistic. It sets up the most evil villains ever -- for whatever reason -- & attempts to give you some satisfaction in their ultimate destiny. Why not just have a movie with someone raping a man's entire family for an hour, just to get comeuppance? It's gratifying, but sort of weak, when it's for its own sake.I hate the protagonists as much as the antagonists. Something abut Paxton's face annoyed me. I become convinced that people who make/like this are preliminary versions of the psychotics, here portrayed. I officially never want to go to Slovaki. Soulless. Those little violent kids. Savages! Literally murdering for bubblegum.Paxton runs over that Slovakian whore: ...you're MY bitch! All this said, the ending was extremely gratifying. But like Saw, not worth going through.
