Matt W (ca) wrote: My review of The Bunny Game, from IMDB.COM.Adam Rehmeier has made a film that will stick with you long after the credits have rolled. The Previous 75 minutes will leave you gasping for air as one scene of horror, is followed by another. That said, the film doesn't suffer from liters of blood, its a brutal film, the black and white cinematography is stunning but constantly helps the dark, and vile thoughts of what lays in the back of the protagonist's mind. The acting is impeccable considering the subject matter, and the music (like all music in film should) adds to the overall feel of the film. With The Bunny Game we have what i believe to be a daring piece of modern film making that will, i hope it will be followed by many extreme horror film fans if they're going to be lucky enough to get their hands on it. Banned in the UK, Sweden is about the only country with any release at this time on DVD.

Nothing Bothered Me Though Accept The One Scene In The Second Tale Be Warned...Guaranteed It Will Offend Woman..Men Not So Much It Is Disturbing Though,Wouldn't Watch If Your Pregnant Either!

Clint C (mx) wrote: The first Pippi movie to actually have a plot and a point. I suspect it was adapted from an actual movie spun off the Swedish TV series, rather than a string of unrelated episodes of the show. Unlike the book it's named after, in this movie Pippi and her friends Tommy and Anika travel to the south seas to rescue Pippi's father who was captured by pirates. Give it a go, if for no other reason than to observe the similarities to Pirates of the Caribbean. The flying scenes are pretty fun as well!

danny d (ru) wrote: the film begins well, then heads towards one of the most heart wrenching and beautiful second acts ive ever seen on film, and the third act even continues in this leading me to want to give the film at least 4 1/2 stars until an incredibly anti-climatic and disappointing closeout of an otherwise brilliant film. although the film drops an entire star for the horrible ending, i still loved this movie. as a father it was hard to watch but reminded me of how much i love my kids. a gritty crime story with solid performances from belmondo and ventura, highly recommended for anyone into the crime genre.

Conner R (fr) wrote: This shows a different side to the Vietnam war than we usually see. It takes the viewpoint of best friends evading the draft by going to college. It shows a lot of the protests and anti-war feelings, even within the family of a soldier. Kiefer Sutherland and RDJ throw out some truly solid performances and provide very different characters. They're not just filling in a running time, but trying to show that there was just as much going on stateside during the war.

Darren B (it) wrote: Flawed but decent enough. Shia LaBeouf delivers I thought. Rest of the cast were good. Storyline a cross between a rom-drama and crime-rom.

Joel H (ru) wrote: Frailty is a fascinating film. It's Matthew McConaughey doing drama before Matthew McConaughey doing drama was cool. This is a very unique horror movie because it's difficult to guess which way it's going to go. Additionally, the acting, in particular Bill Paxton's character, is very well done. If only they would have come up with a better title for this film.

Vulcan S (kr) wrote: Little Buddha opens with an intriguing story that follows an ambitious attempt to blend modern society with ancient religion. Unfortunately, the rest of the film is executed forcefully beneath its harmonizing and beautiful Eastern score. Its lack of memorable scenes and character development exposes its inevitably long running time later in the film; as soon as the foreigners arrive the land of Bhutan, I find it difficult to empathize or sympathize with any of the characters because none of them are developed well enough to draw any sort of connections. The narration abruptly swifts from linear (with flashbacks) to borderline experimental in its climax. Keanu Reeves as Prince Siddhartha/Buddha succeeds in his mysterious look and confidence, but lacks sophistication to guide and inspire further. Overall, Little Buddha is a promising film that begins with two great stories, but unable to provoke its audience to conclude the two stories into a memorable experience.

Joanne H (gb) wrote: Not nearly as predictable as I expected and probably the best performance I've seen by Worthington. Little rushed and neat at the end but overall a good crime thriller with heart.
