Richard B (au) wrote: I thought this film was worth checking out due to the fact that I like Jesse Eisenberg and Tracy Morgan (who doesn't make many movies), but this film isn't very good. I thought both of those guys as well as Melissa Leo did the best with what they could. Overall a film that I didn't like that much, but had its spots and I almost always like Tracy Morgan.
Mloy X (ca) wrote: Tom (Patrick Dempsey): "Nobody in the world makes me laugh the way you do. You're my best friend. I just wanna be with you."This was a cute rom-com but formulaic and highly predictable; it would have been better if it had a different ending because at least then it would have been a bit more interesting. The story was alright but nothing we haven't seen before: notoriously womanizer finds true love almost last minute and has to win fair maiden's heart before she is snatched away by the competition; nothing new. The writing could have been better, there wasn't not enough witty repartee, genuinely laugh-out-loud moments or even catchy quotable dialogue. The acting from the whole cast was pretty decent though. Patrick Dempsey was adorable (Who knew he had a hidden talent juggling plates?) and had good chemistry with Michelle Monaghan (who played feisty but lovable Hannah). The rest of the cast was great: Sydney Pollack (Thomas Sr.) is always a treat to watch and it's always nice to see Kadeem Hardison (Felix) working because he's a really funny and talented actor. Kevin Mckidd, who plays Colin (but who'll always be McArmy to me) was super charming but I have to admit I completely nerded out watching Kevin Sussman , who played "Tiny Shorts Guy" this movie but is also known for his role as Stuart in the television series: "The Big Bang Theory". He so dorky-cute, luv him and totally made my day, plus he got all the good lines in the film. Overall, this movie was watchable, I didn't feel that the hour and 41 minutes was a complete waste of my time; granted, I may opt not watch it again if it's on the telly again because truthfully there are way better rom-coms out there; but like I said, this one wasn't really that bad; although, maybe not repeat-worthy good either. It was just okay.

Jamie F (ru) wrote: It has the production values of a home movie, but I will admit to finding it funny. It sort of works both ways - if you hate Pauly, you might enjoy all of the self-deprecating humour regarding his career and personal life, and if you like Pauly, you might enjoy it because it also has the kind of humour found in his other projects. It's cheesy, but all of the celebrity cameos and jokes about how unfunny "The Weasel" is made it enjoyable in spite of some bad character and story writing.

Conor H (ag) wrote: It started off quite small-scale and poky, but blossomed into something ethereal and fantastic; I watched the last 40 minutes constantly smiling.
Doug J (au) wrote: This film leaves little to be desired. Where the original is a standard in animation and anything but for children, the sequel has an elementary plot, modest animation and lacks in character development. To add insult to injury, this installment features musical numbers. Bleh.
